GTG: I am so glad you had a good time at the TRS concert!
about what you said about him looking at you and you being a fangirl: have no worries! you aren't being a fangirl! I was at a Third Day concert last year and I was with some people I knew and during one song, lead singer Mac Powell looked right at me - three times! your lucky when that happens!

MissA: Do it. Listen to Jonsi. I love how his music makes me feel intelligent because it has so many classical influences. But it's also incredibly playful and joyful to the point of bordering on pop.
I've been listening to a lot of Sent By Ravens in prep for a new review. I don't really like them, but they're pretty good hard rock. I just don't really like Hard Rock. If you like The Classic Crime or Skillet you might like them.
Lots of concerts lately! Maybe this is concert season. I'm glad everyone has been enjoying the TRS concerts.
I saw Seabird and Sherwood last night. It was really fun. My sister and I were super excited to see Seabird. We got to meet Aaron, which was cool. He was really really nice and told us he loved the town where I go to school and actually asked our names, which was nice. They played really well. They weren't super exciting to watch since they mostly stood there (or sat in Aaron's case), but they sounded great. I left liking them more, which is always good. They played mostly slow songs and we wanted to hear "Finally Done Right" or "Apparitions," but they didn't play very many of those more upbeat songs.
Sherwood was great. They are actually from my town, so it was a lot of fun. They played special songs (like "Home") since this was their hometown. I don't really like Sherwood's music, but they were really fun to watch, especially the keyboardist. He plays the tamborine super funny.
Oh I forgot to mention that Bryce's backup band was really good. The bassist kinda looked like Jeff from TAN . Zack, the guitarist, did some amazing BGVs and he really rocked out. The drummer was really good too .
Libby: hehe yeah...
Kate: sounds like a good concert! Cool about getting to meet them
Lark: It was just an interview I read on a website. My bad, he didn't call it a cheesy pop-punk album, he said that it had several cheesy pop-punk songs on it. Anyways, here it is: http://www.altpress.com/features/qarelientk.htm
Glenstorm: Awesome! Your concert experience sounds strangely similar to mine Yeah, he did pretty much those same things (I want something to live for acoustic in the middle of the audience, then crowd surfed back). It was really funny because he crowd surfed twice, and then a third time he attempted, right on top of me, but the people couldn't support him and he had to go back onto the stage. It was hilarious. But about I Want Something To Live For, it was really sad because there were lots of college students at my concert who just wanted to party and totally missed the meaning of the song. They were dancing around him inappropriately during that one There was this one guy behind me though who was closing his eyes and worshipping God during that one though and that really moved me. Oh and wasn't that awesome how he played Break It Out as a loop song? I loved that. Apparently he does something that at all his concerts, and Hey! used to only be a loop song that he would play live (for several years) but he finally recorded it and put it on OMAA. The setlist looks pretty much similar except for some of the request/cover things near the end.
Haha! Good choice of T-shirt! That's funny that you talked to Tara about me... Isn't she SO sweet? She's awesome. I'm glad you got to chat with her
Kate: Yeah, I really liked the classical influences that I could hear in his music. Maybe because I love classical music
Awesome, I'm happy that you got to hear Seabird and Sherwood! Aw, they didn't play apparitions? I love that one. That's cool that Sherwood is from your hometown. I haven't listened to much Sherwood but I really like what I've heard.
^Thanks,Kat. He said some really cool stuff in it.
My dad did take me. But when I was telling my mom about it afterwards she was upset that he crowd-surfed. She said it was immature
Sounds like your mom and my mom would get along well.
No my friends don't like that I listened to it in the first place . And they're RK fans!
Ugh,I HATE how some RK fans think that FANSD is trash ! Just because it isn't pop-punk doesn't mean it's worthless!
Hehe,sorry for the rant.
About the concert....WOW!!! I would've loved to hear his cover of Sweet Home Alabama.
Confetti?? Ooh,fun!
You're not a dumb fangirl! I would've felt the same way.
Oh you like Owl City? He's pretty good, but I don't listen to him that much. I only have a few songs of his...
Yup! I have all three of his Cds. I don't listen to him as much as I used to though.
Um,have you heard of/do you like Deas Vail? (sorry for all the questions )
If you haven't heard of them, here's their myspace:http://www.myspace.com/deasvail
Gosh,I really need to stop being so excited about Kingsfest. It's like three months away! I wish Deas Vail was coming instead of Family Force 5. Or Switchfoot. Or Needtobreathe. Or anyone but Family Force 5.

edit: Hey,I just noticed that in my avy,Rachel's wearing a red knit-hat and in my sig Laura's wearing one.
so MercyMe's new CD will be out on May 4,
their first single All of Creation has been available for a month now.
The CD will be titled: The Generous Mr. Lovewell
^ooh I know! I'm excited for it but I probably won't get it right away- I have WAY too many CDs on my "To Buy" list right now that I want more . But I did get All of Creation .
Sounds like your mom and my mom would get along well.
lol
Ugh,I HATE how some RK fans think that FANSD is trash ! Just because it isn't pop-punk doesn't mean it's worthless!
Hehe,sorry for the rant.
actually they don't like it b/c there's not enough "God" in it. They're not in to breakup songs. And I'm not either. It's b/c my friends and I don't believe in dating so they think it's wrong to listen to those songs. But I don't. Besides the music is so beautiful and it's not like it's one of CDs where the guy just has a bad attitude about the breakup. Matt has a really good perspective about the breakup. But my friends are just kind of dense . They don't even like Sahara. They say it's about his girlfriend, not God.
About the concert....WOW!!! I would've loved to hear his cover of Sweet Home Alabama.
Confetti?? Ooh,fun!
You're not a dumb fangirl! I would've felt the same way.
hehe yeah it was fun. After playing it he was like "so is anyone from Texas?" and only one person was .
Yeah it was awesome ! After he did the confetti for I'm Doing Everything (For You) and then later they started playing So Much Love I was thinking to myself "oh they should have saved the confetti for this.." and then all of the sudden more confetti shoots out . It's funny when that happens
Hehe no kidding- it made my year .
edit: Hey,I just noticed that in my avy,Rachel's wearing a red knit-hat and in my sig Laura's wearing one.
lol
Kat: that's funny (about them being so similiar) . Too bad people were dancing like that. I hate it when people just like the beat of the song and ignore the meaning . Yeah I loved Break It Out as a loop song- it was soooo cool! Hehe yeah (about the tshirt) . I'm like "ooh Kat got this one" but it was the best so I got it too . Btw did you wear it in you Awakening cover? The shirt you were wearing looked like the same color . Yeah she's really nice. It was really easy to talk to her and she was just really nice . I loved her hair- I've been begging my parents to let me dye my hair that color for ages . Oh yeah it was funny when I told her I knew you I was like "Btw I know Kat" and she said "Kat?" and I'm like "you knkow, the girl who does the piano covers. the heart render." and she's like "oh yeah, I know another Kat in Texas, that's why I was confused for a sec." Then she said how she met you a week ago, and I told her you know, what I already said, that you told me about the concert and introduced me to TRS and stuff like that . I'd love to meet her again . I loved this concert so much- I'd actually rather go to another TRS concert than an RK concert . Now I'm DYING to buy Do You Feel, especially since I had it IN MY HANDS! *aaaah*
I did a sleepover at my friend's house this week and we listened to Skillet for hours.....pure bliss!
I am hoping to get a copy of Skillet's CD Comatose! once I do, I will have all of Skillet's CDs! yay!

actually they don't like it b/c there's not enough "God" in it.
Oh,ok. But what about "Therapy"?
Oh my gosh Lark! That is so awesome! If I think of anything I'll tell you
Oh,ok. But what about "Therapy"?
they're quite thick-headed btw. Yeah they don't agree it's talking to God. Or I Don't Need a Soul .
Ali- Sounds like you had a great time at the TRS concert! Tara seems really nice.

That's so cool Lark! I can't think of anything right now, but if I do, I'll tell you!
I just got Barlow Girl's Love & War a few days ago, & I love it! Beautiful Ending, Running Out of Time, & Time For You To Go are my favorites. I love the energy of the last two.
And my sister got TobyMac's Tonight! I LOVE it! Especially Tonight, Hey Devil, Wonderin', Get Back Up, & Break Open The Sky. So catchy!
Kat, I love you Awakening piano cover! It's beautiful! Are you wearing the You Gotta Believe t-shirt?
avatar by Flambeau!
^I never even though of that! Haha, she probably is.
Thanks Ali and Pendragon, but me and my sis have an idea that we think(hope) might work. Not saying anything yet though. We'll be filming after lunch and then we'll review it,make necessary changes if needed, then upload it.
edit: Hey,I have the first post on pages 10-12! What's up with that?
my favorite band is Relient K! I can see a few of you guys like them too.
Awesome! (and welcome to NarniaWeb btw ) Relient K isn't my total favorite, but they're definitely up near the top of my list What's your favorite album?
lol . Yeah her voice is awesome! My sister said she sounds whiny but I love her voice . So, what songs do you like?
I do too! She can sound kinda...shrill at times, but not really whiny IMHO (although I only got their first CD, so I don't know about the second). It was kind of whispery though, which I thought was cool So far I really like All Around Me, Fully Alive, and Breathe Today. I haven't really listened to it straight through though yet, so there will probably be more The concert you went to sounds awesome! TRS sounds pretty cool, yet another band I'll have to look into
If I win I get BACKSTAGE PASSES to the concert on the 17th and...A TRIP TO LIBERTY'S SNOFLEX CENTER WITH TENTH AVENUE NORTH!!!! AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never even heard TAN and that sounds like it'd be amazing, I hope you win!
And my sister got TobyMac's Tonight! I LOVE it! Especially Tonight, Hey Devil, Wonderin', Get Back Up, & Break Open The Sky. So catchy!
Tonight, Wonderin' and Get Back Up are some of my favorites too I agree about the catchy-ness, I keep getting his songs stuck in my head

^Cool Switchfoot vid,Libby! I had never seen it before.
Hehe, thanks greenleaf, but I didn't. The winner was picked before I even shot my entry. Apparently the radio station forgot to mention a deadline on their site.
Anyways,on iTunes you can subscribe to TAN's podcast for free! And I got two free Deas Vail interviews. I feel really sorry for Deas Vail in one interview though because the interviewer keeps getting their label and the release date of "All The Houses Look The Same"(the interview was in '06) wrong.
