Pretty much Sherlock could tell he was an army doctor from John's clothes and haircut. Bart's is short for St. Bartholomew's Hospital from A Study in Scarlet.

Oooh I see the series has hit the US, have you guys seen all of them yet?
I personally was skepticle of the series but was hooked by the first minute in. Love how they take things straight from the book and make it work in the 21st century, also love how they kept it dark-reminiscent of Victorian London :) It was a great watch. Anyone else dying of impatience for more?

I know I've seen all of them--like 1,000 times! ;)) I agree with everything you said about making it 21st century, the whole reminiscence of Victorian London, and that I'm dying for more! :D

My friend told me about this show a few weeks ago. last week I was flipping through some channels and caught the first episode on LPB on Sunday night and I watched The Blind Banker just last night. This is a very interesting and great show. I heard it's out on DVD and plan to get it soon. :)

Aha! I found two new BBC/Book comparisons!

In The Sign of Four, Sherlock evaluates John's watch to learn about his brother. In A Study in Pink, Sherlock studies John's cell phone for the same reason.

And this one:

In Hound of the Baskervilles, Sherlock has John study a man's walking stick and gets his opinion. Sherlock keeps complimenting John in order to keep him going with his theories. However, it turns out John missed everything. ;;) In The Great Game, Sherlock does the exact same thing with John with the pair of shoes. :p

This is fun! I'm going to keep looking for things like this. :D

I thinking of buying it on dvd if i can find it. I am really interesting in reading the books, I think i saw one in the book shop in town the other day but not sure if it was the original stories.

It saves a lot of money to buy them together. At Barnes and Noble, in their own exclusive brand, they have every story together in a two volume set. ;)

Do you think you could do something like a website search that ships things internationally? Something like Amazon, but in Australia perhaps?

Practically done my music video! I'm just not sure if I'm happy with the ending...:-s

Welcome to NarniaWeb Sherlock! I love your username, by the way. You're lucky you got to it first! ;)

That's so cool! :D I love how they kept all those little details in. They're creative! I love that scene when Sherlock asks John to get his opinion on the shoes.

Holmes I bet the ending to your Sherlock video will be awesome! I can't wait to see it!

Speaking of videos Pendragon did you finish yours or are you almost finished? I want to see yours as well.

I have not started on the ones that I said I would be doing. I haven't gotten my scenes and I would dislike taking already edited scenes from youtube.
