I guess she does know. That's so terrible of him! Yet, it doesn't really seem that bad cause he's Sherlock Holmes! :p

Exactly! Hmm...I guess you're right, though. I mean, Sherlock Holmes talking to you would be a great privilage, but if he was just doing it to get information? He wouldn't want to meet me...no, I'm just kidding. :P I'd love to help him out with a case. ^.^

I actually don't know much about Sherlock Holmes in the books, but I guess whatever happens to Sherlock's character will be based off of that. Maybe he will warm up to everyone eventually. ;))

Well, I have noticed in the books that he was a lot more friendly to John as time went on, and that he enjoys having John around as a friend and helper. If he is going to warm up to anybody, I'm guessing it's going to be John first. As we saw from TGG, even if Sherlock is trying to be nicer, he still has quite a bit to learn, poor dear.

That's too bad you haven't heard it. :( Is there any hope of ever getting for your birthday?

I will eventually, one way or another. Well maybe, but my birthday isn't until the end of the year, so that'd take awhile. Which I don't mind, really--it's worth the wait. :D And maybe I could raise enough allowance to buy a copy even before then. That could be nice...*goes off day-dreaming*

I'd love to help him with a case, too! But I would probably annoy him & get in the way. :p Oh, I wish I were as smart as Sherlock...

That makes me feel a little better. I hope he eventually becomes nice to Molly though. She needs a little Sherlock love! :p He was nice to Sarah in TBB when John gets the arrow to shoot that other guy instead of her, & he unties her. Of course, that's the only decent thing to do, though. :p

I am right there behind you! I wouldn't be of any of any assistance--I'd probably just stare at him the whole time. :P Oh well, I'd still love to help. :D

Yeah, I think he could be much nicer to everyone! Let's hope in the next season Molly gets the better end of the stick, since I'm sure she'll find out about Jim quite soon. :-s

Haha, remember how he wanted her to leave, thought it was pathetic that she brought up the subject of food, and couldn't stand that she talking to him/holding the papers? That is, until she figured out the code. ;))

I'm not trying to argue with you--it was very decent of him to comfort her. And for that, I think Lestrade was right. Sherlock, in his own slow yet sure little ways, is becoming a good man. :)

Sorry it took me so long to respond! Life gets in the way of my posting fun! :p

HAHA! I can totally see that happening with me! He does some really smart deduction & I'm just like "Oh." *blank face* "Yeah that really makes sense! haha..." *in my head* "NOT!" :p

*gasp* You're right! She's gonna find out & it'll break her little heart! :(( They better get her a boyfriend or something! I don't normally (okay, EVER!) promote that, but I think she needs one! :p

Yeah! That was so halirious! =)) The look on Sherlocks' face cracks me up every single time! HAHA! but I know what you mean. I'm just saying that was one of the very few times he was kind-- to anyone! I love that quote from Lestrade! It's very true. Someday, he might become a good man. Lets hope season 2! :)

I don't think this has been posted yet. Moffatt and Gatiss have made a little teaser video for season 2. It can be viewed here.

They give 3 words that hint at the contents of the next 3 episodes:

Spoiler
Adler, Hound, and Reichenbach
I assume then, that the stories that will receive adaptation are
Spoiler
A Scandal in Bohemia, The Hound of the Baskervilles, and The Final Problem
.

The last story is the most interesting because (really DO not read this if you haven't read the story unless you WANT to be spoiled)

Spoiler
Holmes actually dies in The Final Problem. The public were so outraged that many people wore mourning bands on their clothing. Doyle eventually resurrected him and continued on writing more stories.

Ahh, I've missed this thread for too long! :-o

I'm very excited now for the second season. Any thoughts on the subjects of the next three episodes? Some people say we're in the middle of Reichenbach right now... :-

On the other hand, I can't wait to see how they do Hound of the Baskervilles! I'm sure that'll be epic. :D

I think Series 2 will show more of Watson's friendship with Holmes developing and set Series 2 up to cliffhang again

I also cannot wait for the Moffatt/Gatiss scripting of Baskervilles. I most want to see how they develop the Irene Adler character and John's relationship with Sarah (maybe Sherlock will continuously be interrupting their dates). :D

I need to do a little research on these stories. It'll be great to see how they adapt it to a modern day setting.

Haha! Yeah, that would be funny if they have Sherlock tag along with Watson & Sarah again. :p I'm kinda nervous about the whole Irene thing, just cause they could either make it a really good romance, or a really bad one. BBC people are very talented for the most part, but they can be kinda edgy at times. :-s I shouldn't be so nervous, but I feel like Sherlock & Watson are friends of mine or something! :p I'm so weird..

I like Sarah a lot but I cant see her sticking around for long with John because doesnt he fall in love and marry a woman named Mary?

The Pendragon, what do you mean by BBC people being 'edgy'? That's not what I've experienced from watching BBC TV series/movies and documentaries etc.

Currently watching:
Doctor Who - Season 11

^^ Technically, so does the USA. ;)

The BBC stuff I've seen, such as Sherlock, actually seems a lot cleaner than some American stuff I've seen. Although it still has its moments.

^Well, of course the USA does too, but I'm just saying that BBC can be bad at times. And I just hope they keep Sherlock clean. Sorry to be so confusing.

Yeah I'm with you on that Pendragon! Even though i'm a huge movie person I too hate it a lot when a good or great movie or tv show with potential is always ruined with usless profanity and sexual content.

Sherlock has had it's profanity moments but nothing bad and lingering or something you'll get struck by lighting saying. I'm sure there will be a bit of crude/sexual humor between Sherlock and Adler but I can't imagine them going any further unless they stray from the books a little.

I just hope that they keep up with what they are doing and keep this show clean and good! ;)
