Howdie everyone!
E+J that's fantastic that you've got the DVD set for Sherlock now! I can't wait to see those gorgeous avatars from you!
Pendragon how do you get your own screenshots? I'm still waiting to get aimersoft because I thought that that was the only software to use to get scenes and screenshots.
MrsHolmes that is a gorgeous video! You are very spot on with the lyrics and scenes was this your first video? it is seriously fantastic! I loved it!!!
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
I don't know why you're all talking about fan-fiction and fan-videos when we could be talking about the TV series. Just seems a wasted opportunity to me. Maybe I came in too late.

We have our discussions as well Warrior 4 Jesus it's just many things in this three episode show is unexplained and we have to wait till next season to get towards really deep discussions.
Speaking of which, did anyone notice in the Great Game
For some reason I'm very confused with those parts.

I watch (but won't be able to anymore) Sherlock from this site. And on my Toshiba laptop, I have a little button on the keyboard that allows me to take a screen cap of the whole page, so I can take a picture of the whole screen with picture that I want. It says "PRTSC SYSRQ", & it's right after the "F12" button. Like I said, I use a program called Picasa 3, which is a picture viewer or something. Anyhow, when I take a picture of the whole page, & Picasa is open, the picture goes straight to a folder. Then all I have to do is crop the screen cap to go from this to this. You can download Picasa 3 here. Paint.NET works just as well, except all you have to do is take the screen cap of the whole computer, go into Paint & go to "File" & then click on "Paste". then just crop & save the picture. I hope that's clear. If you need more clarification just ask or PM me.

Aww thank you, I'm so flattered! No, I have made other videos, just not to Sherlock--yet.
One thing I want to add about the homeless woman in GG--I think the homeless people are Sherlock's modern Baker Street Irregulars from the books, his "eyes and ears all over London" (or something like that). Only this time he has adults instead of children. Haha those scenes were great, though. I loved how he gave the lady a 50 pound note, and then asked John for case. And the other part with her.
Homeless lady: "Spare change, sir?"
Sherlock: "Don't mind if I do."
Is it just me, or does it sound really cute, the way he delivers that line?
Awesome-as sig by Ithilwen, sweet-as avi by DamselJillPole. Thanks you two! *hugs*
^Yeah, I remember that. The way he said that line was really cute! It was kinda funny, but when I first saw Sherlock, I KNEW I had seen him somewhere else, but I just couldn't place it! It was driving me nuts, so I finally looked up what else he had been in. And he was on an episode of another BBC show called "Miss Marple", about this little old lady, Miss Marple, who is a detective. I think he played the part of her friend or something. Anyways, his har was really short & slicked back. It's really funny to see all the different hairstlyes people have!

You're good at recognizing people! I didn't remember seeing Ben anywhere before until my mom pointed out he was in Amazing Grace, can you believe it? Just goes to show what a great actor he is. I love Miss Marple--I need to watch the episode with him in it. Do you remember which one it was?
Speaking of hair, does anyone else absolutely love his hair in Sherlock? The dark brown color suits him very well. The longer length was alright in the unaired pilot episode, but I thought the shorter style was best.

Yes, Miss Marple is an Agatha Christie creation. The first modern detective story was written by Edgar Allan Poe but was popularised by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle his Sherlock short stories and serials.
Anyone think Cumberbatch would play a great Puddleglum?

Of course Warrior 4 Jesus! Also welcome to the Sherlock Club
Funny you mention that Benedict would make a good Puddleglum because me and some of my friends discussed that a few weeks ago that he could. He is good buddies with both Michael Apted and David Arnold. It's a huge possibility he may be mentioned by them. *crosses fingers*

The episode is called "Murder is Easy". You can watch it on youtube. He is a really good actor! I saw that he was in Amazing Grace! I haven't seen it yet, but I really need to. My friend (who is a HUGE fan like moi! ) & I found these picture of him in Amazing Grace and in Miss Marple. Those hairstyles just crack me up! Of course the his hair in Amazing Grace is a wig (at least in that pic) but it's hilarious nonetheless. But in Sherlock his hair is SO adorable! I like it both short & long. And it's curly! I just love curly hair! You're right about the color suiting him very well.
Warrior4Jesus, I would LOVE to have Ben be in Narnia! He might actually make a great Puddleglum.

Thanks.
It's not just his build that made me think that but his physical appearance is not unlike a Marshwiggle and he can pull off the lovable but pessimistic characters very well. He'd be my first choice.
