The university was closed until noon today because of all the snow! That was awesome. Driving was still terrible though, I slipped around on the highway a little . Snow is awesome except for the driving problems it causes lol

Still enjoying the mild weather here! It was perfect today except for the wind. It was super breezy!

Its been warming up lately in my area! That's very good news because I am ready for spring. Seeing lots of sunshine makes me happy!

It's literally Spring weather already in Louisiana. It's warm/cool, everything is getting greener again. I kind of miss the winter right now. Humidity is horrible.

Here it is finally raining. And this week we are expecting snow! In sunny California!

It snowed in Seattle today, which is rather rare there. I remember getting excited phone calls from my brother (after he'd first moved out there) when it snowed.

Our weather is calm right now, after last weekend's big snowstorm, with another possible snowstorm this upcoming weekend (the storm track is still a little uncertain, so we may or may not get lots of snow).

In other news, the shuttle Discovery rocketed into orbit today for the last time. Check out sites like http://www.heavens-above.com to see if it'll be visible from your house (at the moment that site hasn't updated to show separate shuttle predictions, but it should be visible 'chasing' the International Space Station for the next day or so, until it docks with the station).

Alas, it looks cloudy here the next few days...

I hate driving through icky wetness.

Yeah isn't it wonderful (the snow I mean) ? I remember last time it actually snowed in the suburbs here I was a little girl and it was fun but strange.

A long time ago, my Dad took my sisters to Mt. Tam, collected the snow there, brought it home and put it in the freezer hoping to preserve it.

Oh how I envy you it's still winter here, and the clouds came back today . It's warmer though, only about -10C (14F), but that's still cold......when is spring going to come, it's already the end of Feburary

Winter is alive and well here as well, with high temps today similar to yours, wild rose (though the sun was out for a while). The "nation's icebox," International Falls, bottomed out at -23F/-31c, and didn't get above 0F/-18C all day.

Our snowpack is pretty deep after last weekend's storm, with a little more expected tonight. And it looks like somewhere within a few hours' drive of here is going to get another pile this weekend.

A cold, wet weather pattern has settled in where I live. Almost an inch of rain today already and 2.5 inches for February so far. Temperature is currently 41.4F/5.2C. Predicted low tonight 30F and 27F for Sunday night.

Let's see how low it actually goes.

It quite windy here right now. Honestly I think the worst part of winter is the terrible wind. I can manage with snow and cold temperatures, but an icy wind is just awful.

Its always sunshine and freedom. We never get any rain.

Winter is reluctant to loosen its grip here; our night temperatures are still falling below 0F/-17C. And we're going to get more snow tonight or tomorrow - just a few inches, enough to clog up the rush hour. But we're only about 25 inches short of the all-time winter snowfall record here, and March is one of our snowier months, so let's get the bragging rights that can come with 100 inches of snow in a season, right?

We are slightly breezy from time to time with lots of sun and highs in the 70's. That's typical 'Spring' weather for El Paso. We'll get about a month of this, as we slowly climb towards the 80's then in late April into May we hit the 90's. And once we hit the 90's it doesn't cool down until late September into October.
