When i woke up it was pretty and shiny then it was yesterday. I got ready this morning because I wanted to go back to a best buy and as soon as I was done getting dressed. *boom boom*. More thunder like yesterday and there were these dark clouds rolling in a few miles away. I was like 'you've got to be kidding me." but I'm still going to go out because I have friend I'm meeting for dinner. Pray that I don't fall asleep.

Early June weather, usually pretty hot by now, is acting more like march weather, warm, humid, and cloudy. I'm supposed to go camping in 2 days and I seriously want this weather to clear out and warm up so I don't freeze.

Now that June has come the heat is almost unbearable (almost cause I have high tolerance to heat, even though I don't really like it)

I'm the opposite: I have an extremely low tolerance to heat. So how about we trade a bit, wild rose, to balance each other out? ;)) What are your temperatures now, rose?

;))
the temperatures here are usually from around 25 to 30 degrees Celsius, which would make it...let me see (thinks)...I should have studied harder in my science about the conversion formulas ...just a sec (looks it up in google :p ) around 77 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Not so hot for some places but the air is a little humid but very thick and stuffy at the same time. It's like you go outside and sometimes you feel like there simply isn't enough air which makes it very unpleasant, the sun is also very harsh and makes you feel sticky and uncomfortable (although this weather seems to be ideal for my cactuses, so I guess in one way I am thankful for it). We had a lovely thunder storm this evening and now everything is so refreshed and pleasant. The weather in early June is very unpredictable, hot and sunny one moment and the next it's pouring rain. You never know what to expect so it is always handly to have an umbrella and jacket when you go out just in case

beloved I hope the weather clears up before your camping trip

30C is a little uncomfortable, especially if it's humid. ;))

If the sky is clear where you live, check out the view to the southwest after sunset. Mars is passing just north (to the upper right in the Northern Hemisphere) of Regulus, the brightest star in Leo the Lion. The two are very close in apparent brightness, though there's a hint of color contrast between Mars' dim red and the bluish of the star (more info, along with some comments about the recent impact on Jupiter, is here).

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

The weather is boring here today. Just some clouds and the sun. I wish it would rain! I love rain. :p

It was raining here this morning. ;)) The weather hasn't been too bad. Mostly in the 60s and 70s.

Ever since the last thunderstorm the weather has been nice and cool with cool wind, very pleasant to be outside. Rains every day, once or twice, sometimes there will be sun, but usually it is just clouds

Well, I got the rain I was wanting. It has been raining very hard. It rained so hard that on the freeway I saw two different cars that ran off the road.

Our forecast for the next week includes rain, some more rain, and then some rain. ;)) We're on the cool side of a large low pressure center-front combination that's going to make for a very wet week in the center of the US. South of the front (say Chicago and St. Louis), temps will exceed 90F/32C with heat indices around 100F/38C (it's expected to be even warmer down by the Gulf of Mexico). At least around here it's going to be only around 65F/18C.

But a clear sky would be nice, to allow a chance to look at Comet McNaught, now low in the northern skies before dawn (details, and a map showing where to look, appear here). It's worth noting that (unlike bright recent comets like Hale-Bopp) this one will likely be pretty dim, requiring binoculars and a reasonably dark sky - though it could just become visible to the naked eye if you know where to look. The article reports that observers have spotted it with binoculars through city lights - but the head was small and no tail was visible without more magnification. But then, a good comet's always worth the search!

I'll be checking on that comet. The only one I've ever seen was Hale-Bopp way back in the 90's....

It's been raining a lot here. My vegetable plants are loving it. Between rain we have had some sun. There was a thunderstorm this morning and the rain continued after the thunder / lighting stopped. The rain stopped and the sky kind of cleared (there was some clouds but the sun would pop out now and again. As the afternoon progressed it stayed out longer. :p It was humid and steamy especially while the sun was out. Of course, I had to be outside. I was working at a daycare and it was outside play time. I felt like I was melting. :p

Today is sunny but it's still hot. The heating index over the past few days was over 103 degrees now it's back in the 90's but still the weather is very harsh that I've stayed indoors for three days days now. I'm hoping for nicer weather. :(

Whew, was it humid today! Dewpoints were up into the low 70s, which, for upstate New York, is about as high as we go. I am still waiting for a good thunderstorm though. The only storm we've gotten that had more than a couple minor rumbles of thunder was in the middle of the night, and I missed the majority of it.

They sure did get a storm in the panhandle of Texas today though! One of the reports that came out of a storm there was for six inch diameter hail! ouch!!
