my sister wants me to sew some dress for her, I actually have no idea about sewing dresses much, I usually do patches, toys and stuff like that. Hems, pockets I can do but I am not sure about this dress.

I just ordered two pocket watches/necklaces today. Another thing to add into my "Mad Hatter" box of stuff.
Incidentally, I don't remember if it was on here, or elsewhere, where someone asked about what the teacup ring looks like. It looks almost exactly like this one from ModCloth, but there is a crown on the cup instead of leaves, and I don't think mine has a little spoon.
I found a guy that does some amazing steampunk/leatherworking stuff on etsy. I'm considering asking him for a price for doing a Vortex Manipulator for my River costume. I'm dreading the answer a bit, though.

Well, if you don't ask, you'll never know! Doesn't hurt to find out.
Yesterday I stumbled upon these fascinating ear jewelry pieces on etsy. While they would be perfect for an elf costume and are very lovely, they're a tad above my price range. But it might be an inspiration for something simpler.

I think a lot of things on etsy are way too over priced for the materials they are made out of.
I found something a bit cheaper(a lot actually) http://www.etsy.com/listing/91233994/as ... &ga_facet=
or these

these ones are actually more like the ones you were looking at
The cool thing about Adeona's pair, though, is that they give the illusion of pointy ears. Those are really cute! (all three are, actually).
An easy way to do elf ears, actually, is to use some spirit gum and simply fold your ear in on itself. I've done that multiple times. You just have to be careful to get all the spirit gum out before you wash your hair, though!!

I have never used spirit gum, I should have with my link costume because link has elf like year. You can find some really random/ weird and interesting things on etsy, A lot of cool zelda stuff actually.
