Currently, I collect AG horses, AG dolls, anything that has to do with ballet, AG magazines, Webkinz, and my newest collection, snowglobes!! I know it's a lot. I may even be forgeting some things! I'll try to get some pictures included.

I collect calico cat figurines/pictures/etc; Disney cats-just about anything there; Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch) anything.
But mostly I collect lapel pins: Disney ones (tons of those) and ones from places I've been (I've tried to get at least one from every state I've been in and any attractions/theme parks I've been to) and ones I've had since I was a kid and all my name tags from my different jobs; and medical air transport ones, Hard Rock Cafe, Rainforest Cafe--just about any pins! And I have a lot of them!!! I even my grandpa's old campaign button collection.

I collect AG, rocks, staples (yes, staples), and also pipe cleaners.
I collect hardcover books for the most part. Paperbacks just don't look as good on a shelf, do they? I've got about 300 including a mix of the Classics, some more modern stuff, and tons of historical and reference books. There are many things I want in life, but in the top 5 would be to have my own two story library complete with a row of shelves with one of those built-in sliding ladders. I always wanted one of those! Plus a suit of armor I can put on display in said room, but that's another topic.
I also collect (and play) boardgames. I've got about 30 titles right now, everything from Yahtzee to Axis and Allies. My wife groans when I want to add another to the collection, but I can live with that if need be.
I used to have a collection of foreign coins that came from places as varied as Bhutan, San Marino, and Denmark. One of my prize coins was an old WW2 Nazi coin dated 1944, and I have a few other WW2 coins as well, including a few wheatback pennies and some of the old zinc-coated "silver pennies" the US government minted early in the war so they could free up brass for the war effort. People hated them because they got mistaken for dimes a lot, and so the government gathered all of the ones they could find, put em' on a freighter, and dumped the whole lot somewhere out in the Pacific Ocean.

Dude! SL, I think you are a prime candidate for LibraryThing
(Yes, I just said "dude" and meant it )

Did you just call me...."Dude"?
It's a really good site and I've looked at it before (and read a few of your reviews while I was there ) but I already do reviews over at Amazon and BGG, and I don't know if I could squeeze in another one, Dudette.

But it's not about the reviews! It's about cataloguing books! Having your collection ready at your fingertips from any Internet-connected computer! Classifying, tagging, and sorting! What's not to love?
(And you can post the same review for a book on multiple sites if you wanted, btw.)

Well now that'd be difficult seeing as how most of my books are in storage boxes until I get our ad hoc "library" going in the spare room. I need some good, solid bookshelves (preferably oak) and I'm stuck with a trio of pressboard shelves that tend to warp when I put the full weight of leatherbound books on them. There's nothing more goofy looking than a shelf that sags down into a U shape, trust me. Now, once I got all that squared away I guess I could take a gander and start cataloguing them (the wife is a librarian after all ), but even were I to start right this minute it'd still take weeks before I could have that room set up, and the wife would bonk my head for not finishing the kitchen remodel up first.
At any rate, you seem to write lots of reviews on the books you own, so that must form at least a substantial reason for your going there, yes?
And to stay on topic, yes, I "collect" reviews.

I collect books and piggy banks. Or penny banks - out of the four I have, only two of them are actually piggy, and one of them is purple.
I collected paper dolls for a while, several years ago. I cut them out of American Girl and Sears catalogues, and they were lovely.

I collect cookie cutters, postcards, and books. Oh, and I have a nice size fabric collection. I think the cookie cutters are the most practical, from culinary perspective, but the books are probably the most "displayable".
