A lot of these sketches are very neat. Great job to everyone.

Shantih: I love the sketch of the horses. They are my favorite animals and breathtaking.

I've done some drawings and sketches myself that I need to find and post on here. I did make a collage drawing of Ben Barnes back in September of 07.

Shantih, I love your artwork. 'Specially the one of Aslan. :)

Narnialover101, I like the first one with the dark clouds and the green dress and bright balloons.

The rest of you did a great job too!

I have some artwork to post, but I'm waiting for out scanner to be fixed. :|

Thanks for the comments everyone :)

I like the Aslan painting, Santiel. I normally work in oils but am now doing a project in acrylics, it's taking some getting used to!

I'm making a storybook at the moment about a city fox who moves to the country, it's got a long way to go though (I intend to do 13 illustrations, I've currently done one ). I scanned a couple of sketchbook pages though -

Shantih...wow...that's rather incredible work there! How long does it take you to sketch a face like that? Goodness...to have the skill myself...

*chuckles* do you take requests?

Well I haven't posted here in a while...trying to get back into NarniaWeb, I've just been so busy! Everyone's work looks fantastic.. Shantih Your work is absolutely outstanding! I love your style and could only wish to be as good as you!

Well, I worked on a collage of famous racehorses that I put together on Gimp, and was trying to draw it, I'm pretty happy with the results; it took me about a week to do. The second one is a picture of a cougar..I've been trying to expand my horizons of drawing-ness! :p

Thanks Shadowlander :) I'm afraid these days I don't even have time to draw the things I want to half the time, nevermind anyone elses :)) Those faces are all from 5 mins to half an hour, they're done in an A5 and aren't very big at all.

lilsis_lucy - I like the horses the most, you clearly have a lot of patience! You're already very good, with practice you can only get better :)

Some of you guys are awesome at drawing faces! I think those are the coolest things. I need cover art for my EP and I wanted to have a drawing of my face or something but I could never draw like you guys. Awesome job! Conga-rats!

Thankyou for the comments! They are much appreciated. :)

I really like the butterfly in the second pencil drawing! And the cube is an interesting idea, especially the "Ink Rain".

Thankyou Mehinen! I love your picture of the Sunset! It's so beautiful. The way you did the reflection of the sun and the calm colours it lovely.

CSLewisNarnia: The cube is very nice! Did it serve a particular purpose, or was it just a awesome, random cube? I like what you did for the "Up" piece, although I admit I'm not exactly sure what I'm seeing; It's a 2D drawing with a real balloon taped to it, correct? Very creative

Thankyou! Lol, it was just a random cube, something to do during free time. Ah, yes, the UP piece it a real balloon with a 2D house on the bottom. :P The balloon picture you've done is very pretty. Colourful yet simple.

Well, I'll be around.

Shantih, everything you draw/paint/etc. is completely amazing, so you can guess what I think of what you've posted. :P :D They're gorgeous.

lilsis_lucy, I love the cougar! And the horses! They're both beautiful.

Freddie, you already know how much I love your artwork. ;) But I just wanted to go on record and say that they're AMAZING! :D

Now, I've only recently gotten into the drawing scene myself, since I used to think I was horrible at it. My sketchbook is one I doodle in during church, but it's got lines in it (since I also take notes on the teaching), so they're not the best to show on here. However, I do have a couple that I drew in an actual sketch book. My style tends to lean more toward the anime/manga style than realistic, although for some reason I can't get hair to look anime/manga-ish very well.

Here's Momiji from the manga Fruits Basket that I traced/drew from a page of one of the books I have. His hair and head kinda gets cut off there on the slant because that's where the picture ended.

Here's Katniss from The Hunger Games. I think her face is kinda disproportional. It's the first time I've done an entire body as well.

Here's a Lord of the Flies one. I darkened the lines and put the texture up on Photoshop because it looked kinda "blah" otherwise. Apparently I need work in drawing circles (and half-circles for that matter :P). This is my favorite one.

Eh, there was this other drawing I did of a big eye, but I can't seem to find it. When and if I do I'll put it up. :)

So excited just got some new tinted charcoal and white charcoal. :D
would anyone have any tips in using tinted charcoal.. since it's my first time using them? :)
Played around with them yesturday and came out with this:

I remember the days of childhood
They told a story of Romeo and Juliet
I remember thinkin’ it was so romantic
But I never thought it would hurt so.

I'm currently illustrating a story I'm doing as well! :p It's really fun! :D
Your faces are done so beautify, I wish I could get mine that realistic! :-o :p
If you don't mind me asking what paper and pencils do you use? :-
I feel as though I've hit a wall in improving my skill and I don't know how to get over it! :( I feel like I'm almost right where I want to be, but still haven’t reached it, its very frustrating! [-(
I just have to keep asking God to help me be more patient. :)

Rising_Star ~ Those are awesome for your first time at trying to draw stuff! My favorite is the Lord of the Flies one...I love the feel of it and how it's just silhouettes!

Santiel ~ Thats awesome! I love how you got the texture of the fabric and I also like how the background is kinda vague but stands out, as well. Sorry, I have no advice for using tinted charcoal...I've never really done any charcoal work.

Anyways here are my two most recent drawings...the first one is of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the second of M. Night Shyamalan. I figured that actors and actresses get too much credit sometimes, and fan art is usually all of them, so I decided to give my hero, M. Night, some justice in that area! ;)

Shantih, your art is amazing, I especially love the frst spread - the shading is amazing, and I always was a sucker for sketchbook pages! ;) And I see you, too, sometimes tend to leave only one eye finished fully, I share that trait!

lilsis, I absolutely love the horses, they're brilliantly amazing! I also love the Obo-Wan portrait! Great realism!

DaughterofEve, I just love the Husky dogs! They're so cute and smiling, just like the real ones! And the filly is amazing, the perspective, the motion, they're absolutely stunning!

I'll see if I can post something here soon, I'll have to browse my works ;)
