First off, I like everything I've seen in this thread!
I can't exactly think up how to comment just yet, but I will. I promise.
Anyway, here is something I drew for my mom while we were on our family vacation in July. (I actually drew it while in the car on the way there) I think it's one of, if not, the best I've ever done. I hope you like it!
Oh, if you're wondering why I chose to draw a lighthouse for her, it's because she loves them so much.
Lovely picture, PA, I hope she liked it
Here's a couple of new things, this first one was turned into a lithography print. I'm looking into animal myths and one involves Aristotle thinking swallows hibernated under lakes during winter
And a random lion -
Both are drawn in pencil then coloured on PS
There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.
thanks, lilsis_lucy! I've been practicing on my signature a lot
thank you, LadyGrace!
Shantih, I really like the flow of the woman's hair it's really cool looking!
*edit* I posted and then saw your recent pictures
[and wow! those drawings are awesome! I like the designs and different pattern-like sketching.]
your painting is awesome, Destined-To-Reign! I like the characteristic scratches and the colors are very peaceful (:
Princess Anna, good drawing! I like how you placed the sun and the bird opposite to the lighthouse. reminds me of one that I got to go in, it was really cool

This thread looks lonely...
Here's just a quick pencil sketch I made the other day:
Great work, everyone!
Shantih, I really like the first one. There is something very interesting in those birds and roots . The lion is very good, too.
Narnian_Badger: Very good sketch! The bird is cute.
Here are a couple of pictures, the first one is done yesterday and the other one weeks ago.
The latter one is actually a friend's idea, she sometimes gives me ideas when I can't think of anything myself .

The first one is awsome and the other 2 are really good to. I am embrassed to show my artwork because all of yours are really good.
Wow, these are really amazing! Very creative too.
I have some pencil drawings on hold atm, but I have a few stuff I've painted. I found this cube and thought it would be really interesting to paint little scenes or stuff on them. So...
Side 1
Side 2
Side 3
Side 4
Side 5
(I apologize for the blurry effect, my camera was acting up. And, yes a cube has 6 sides--side 6 is not yet finished.)
(Disclaimer Note) *Credit for the following two go to Pixar * But the idea to do this was ours. A-just-saying.

Every time I think of a quote or witty comment to put here, the quote is not so spectacular and the comment is not so witty.
narnialover101: very nice work, I especially like the first one! And the second one is somehow very funny, perhaps because of the figure's expression and the tiny fish. Great work with the water .
CSLewisNarnia: I really like the butterfly in the second pencil drawing! And the cube is an interesting idea, especially the "Ink Rain".
These are both done on 30x70 cm stretched canvas with watercolours and acryllic colours.

narnialover101, Oh how beautifull, your type of drawings are great, you lucky ducky i have been trying forever to try and draw that way.
it seems your links are not working, Mehinen...
i haven't done alot fo work lately due to lacking paints, no extra money and no time. but i did a few drawing the other day. sorry the actual page went a funny colour when i took a picture of the first drawing.
I remember the days of childhood
They told a story of Romeo and Juliet
I remember thinkin’ it was so romantic
But I never thought it would hurt so.
Thanks a bunch everyone!
CSLewisNarnia: The cube is very nice! Did it serve a particular purpose, or was it just a awesome, random cube? I like what you did for the "Up" piece, although I admit I'm not exactly sure what I'm seeing; It's a 2D drawing with a real balloon taped to it, correct? Very creative!
Santiel: My goodness, I'm very flattered, but you're drawings are amazing!!! I can't see why you would ever want to draw like me.
I've been messing around with colored pencils lately, and quite enjoying it. Here are two of the results; they aren't perfect, but they turned out nicer then I expected.

Wow! You guys are so good! All I can do is stick figures.
Thanks, NarniaLover and Horse_Lover. hehehe the giraffe one i gave to my Grandmother for Christmas, she was like you did this, now i understand why poeple think your good. lol more likely the most i had ever spent on a christmas present, since the drawing is worth $120 or something. lol
Like your first one NarniaLover, it's really good. it's really cute too, reminds me of all the children stories i read when i was lil.
Narnia_at_heart: i sure you will be able to draw or be artistic some way. I'm sure you would be good at it too.
it's funny since everyone thinks art and being artistic is a very exclusive talent, but reallly it isn't everyone is creative and really what is art.... you can't say what is and what isn't good or not. common they sold a painting for HEAPS that was painted by and elephant. lol
this is a acrylic painting of Aslan i did last year, won second prise for it:
