I wasn't able to be on-line long enough to even notice anything about April Fool's. Besides, pulling pranks was the last thing on my mind. I spent April 1st as host to Steve Lillis, professional pool player and trick shot artist, as he did two trick shot shows at my college campus. He is also a Christian and gives a life or Gospel message with each shot he performs. We had 150 people for two shows and 1/3 of them repsonded positively to the spiritual messages, wanting to either know more about God or about a Bible study. It couldn't have been better if we planned it. I am already talking with him about coming back next year and doing something even bigger.

Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

Heroine: your avie and siggy are REALLY not funny! Bad, bad, bad!

Sorry. Is my set on TLC better?

Yes, your set on TLC is better. :) Yet I prefer your current NW avie to the one on TLC. It's beautiful! B-)

I'm not a member of TLC's forum, btw. What's it like? I noticed someone later in this thread said TLC was hilarious [or something like that]. What did they mean? :-

Also, I read the "Dolorosa" link in your siggy. All I can say is WOW. Thanks for sharing it with us! And thank the author for me! :)

Hmmm...my April fools day really wasn't all that exciting. I found a banana under my pillow, if that counts for anything. :p
But my favorite part of April fools is going on Narniaweb. I LOVED the Alice in Wonderland mod switch, and all the hobbits were very confusing. I can't wait to see what ya'll do next year. :)

Using my powers of deduction I have concluded that my sister must be... thefoursigns[repeat] !

yep! How did you know? Did she tell you?

I figured it out mainly by the number of her posts. I got her to confirm it later.

Other than the spelling? Apparently nothing. :p

Great response. ;))

Is there a specific mod in charge of April Fool's Day jokes?

I realized that we mere NarniaWebbers are totally at the mercy of the mods on April Fool's Day. There is really nothing we can to retaliate. They have too much power. We are reduced to coming up with suggestions for the mods on jokes they can play on us. :p

I had a lot of fun with the Spare Oom's being limited to 4 threads joke. It was fun coming up with sacrifices and such. :D I am a little disappointed we won't get the From the Desk of Shadowlander thread. :(

I'm beginning to worry about myself; My devious / mischievous / teasing side is showing more. :-s I don't remember playing a joke on anyone until this year (although I might have when I was a kid) or wanting a joke to work for that matter. It must be the influence of those NarniaWebbers. :p ;)

Nope. We randomly plot and plan over the year and then the better ideas come together on April 1.

Hey not even us mods knew about the banner and forum name change! Tirian didn't tell us!

This may sound odd, but it suddenly occurred to me yesterday evening--out of nowhere--what April Fool's Day really is. And it's not pretty. :( What's the purpose? We tell lies in order to deceive the simple/gullible, those who easily believe and trust [like children]; we take advantage of them. What about this is Christian?! :-s /:) WWJD: Would Jesus have participated in a single April Fool's Day joke? I doubt it. I'm beginning to think He might have laughed, I know He smiled, on this earth. But redemption is no joke. I cannot see Jesus taking advantage of the simple, the gullible, the child-like believers. I cannot see Him telling them lies or deceiving them in any way. Those are the ones He ministered to. Those are the ones who trusted in Him. :)
