BAHAHAHA!!! XDDD
I was TaylorSwift... I had my reasons. Don't judge me.
And yes... Joe was me, and I was Joe. We did a switcheroo that only a few certain people knew about.
How did you do that? Did you just post with each other's accounts or did you actually switch usernames like the mods did?
Figure out? How could anyone figure me out? I'm hardly transparent.
I looked at the Board Index. Where your name usually goes, as Costume Moderator with Lady Eowyn, it said Mod 19.
I hope that wasn't cheating!
I figured out Mod 1 the same way.
I add my thanks to the mods for a great April Fool's Day! The best so far, I think.

That's how I figured out most Adeona...
Ok another guess!

Yeah, it was kind of obvious. I referred to who was modding what forum a few times myself. But I had such hopes of being incognito.

SithLady is not Lady Arwen, that's all I have to say about that.
P.S."Brooklyn!"
Ok... in that case then I give up on Lady Arwen's other name (maybe she'll be nice and tell me in a beautiful little spoiler box on this thead... hey a wolf can dream can't she )

*Knows who Sithlady is* (But that's just because the REAL Sithlady admitted it to me ) I probably shouldn't tell who it is...
Anyway, great to see all you mods back! Don't ever leave us again! Naughty.
(But then, after your trip back from Barbados, you probably don't want to).

Just out of curiosity, was I a bit of a challenge to figure out? I only ask since I'm quite new to being a Mod.
My sister was looking at website for teaching jobs on the first. She looked at me and said this has got to be a joke. There were two posts for jobs at Hogwarts. She was a bit confused as to why there would be a joke until I pointed out it was April Fool's Day.

You obviously weren't here for crazier ones, like "BarnesWeb", for example. I think THAT one is the most infamous prank pulled in recent years.
Yes, Princess Anna, that was a really good one. I forget what year that was though... Oh, I just remembered: It must have been the year that Prince Caspian came out. Of course!! It was done so professionally too, so I think a lot of people fell for it. Ah, such good times here on NarniaWeb!
I have a question: Did any of you crafty sleuths figure out who we were based on the riddles in our signatures? (see mine below.) Some were easier than others, but they were all clever.
The riddles were all clever; at least all the ones I saw were! But I'm sure they were all amazing. And why wouldn't they be? Unlike what those stuck-up Rent-a-mods might say, we definitely have wonderful, smart, top-quality mods on this forum! We're so glad to have you guys back!
My mom (johobbit), my dad and I had fun thinking up a riddle for my mom. I had the idea of using the hobbit name for the month of April (which was Astron), and hoefully that would get people thinking about hobbits. Then the three of us worked it into a poem using a few other "hobbity"-type words and phrases as well. It was quite fun! The final riddle for my mom was:
"It's a high day to answer there and back to me
But don't be fooled by ASTRONomy"
("Highday" was the hobbit word for "Friday".)
Sadly, Kate, I think most of the members didn't really try to figure out the riddles; they just looked at what forums the mods were "modding" and came to conclusions based on that. (I think some of them didn't even know at first that the riddles were clues to each person.) Too bad there wasn't a way of changing who "mods" each forum, so that the members would have no choice but to use the riddles to figure out who was who. Still, the riddles were great, and I think the members appreciated them, and overall it was a good day.

That is really funny! What a great April Fool's joke!!
THANK-YOU AND CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE MODS AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF FOR ANOTHER FUN AND SUCCESSFUL APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!! (You guys are the best!)

I really need to think up some new April Fool's pranks... I've done te same ones for about four or five years now! Not particularly good ones either; just the ol' switcheroo between cereal packets and the shove-pieces-of-scrunched-up-paper-into-other-people's-shoes-so-they-think-they've-grown-out-of-them joke.
So it's nice to see that NarniaWeb has something new and hilarious every year! April fools is one of my favourite days of the year just because of all the mischief the Narnia sites get up to. My favourite prank of this year would have to be the artice about Rebecca Black being the likely new Jadis. That cracked me up, although I knew better than to believe it!
