So when making the scripts should we pm each other some of the drafts and then work in a cycle... like say Booky starts then he pms in to me and then I edit, then I pm it to you, Lu, or should we just post it here? I'd also like to point out it is possible to upload word documents (and I believe other files as well) as attachments here, but that will use up your space...

A newscast sounds fun. What would be the format be exactly? Like something people were broadcasting from Narnia?

That's great, wolfloversk! Booky, I figured that we would cast people as the four Pevenises, etc. and make it like they were maybe in Narnia talking about the news or else in England and talking about their past experiences in Narnia. I want to make it funny, maybe sort of a parody where you take the real things that happened and then twist them somewhat to make them funny. I'm not sure if we should do one for separate ones for LWW, PC and VDT or else mesh them all together (or we could just do VDT since it's so new?). I'm open for lots of input!

Also as far as how we will go about writing it...maybe we could come up with a list of what things we will make jokes out of, and then everyone gets a third of the jokes to make. Once that's done, we can send them to each other somehow so that we can edit them, etc. (for example, I know that I can think of a lot of jokes quick but some of them will be just stupid, and we will weed them out; the ones that are actually found to be humorous by all three of us will go into the movie. Do you think this method would work?

P.S. Even though I am able to do some male voices (Edmund, Peter, etc.) in this we will need to have actual actors as we will see their faces. Thus, we may not be able to do all of the characters...we will have to see who auditions. Also, Booky...since we have decided on live action I take it that you do not want to help cast that (as you said only if it was voice auditions)? If so, is there anyone else who would like to help me? So far no one else has agreed to help cast...

I'm actually an intern in casting for independent films and I assisted casting a couple of times so i'll help you with that as well!

Actually, CharlotteRose, the only jobs that have been taken are formulating the plot, scriptwriting and casting (looking for actors/actresses). We have not actually cast anyone yet, I'm sorry that you misunderstood- I need to rephrase it or something. The point being, if you are interested in acting in this (it will be a semi-comedic news cast where you will probably not film much more than your head and upper body; you know, like on the news) than you are not too late to audition! We have not gotten to auditioning and casting yet. We have only decided who will decide who gets each part! I hope that you will audition when we get to that step!

I now have the list of humorous plot points. This is my thinking: there are eighteen plot points and there are three scriptwriters (Bookwyrm, myself and wolfloversk). So, each one of us gets six plot points to work on. Go ahead and pick them, first come first serve between the two of you and I shall take the remaining six. We will each work on our plot points (I'll tell you how in a minute), then we will send them to each other via PM. Once we all agree on how things are working out, that will be the end of scriptwriting for this project.

Now here's how to do it:

First, select your plot points. Remember that the plot points need to be humorous. For example, if you pick the one about the white witch plotting to rule Narnia, you will want to do something funny with it such as making her power-crazed or thrilled with her progress or something like that. Then you will type up what questions the news anchor asks your character and how your character responds- or if your character ignores the news anchor and rambles on by themselves (do whatever you want, but the news anchor should be trying to ask questions and get answers for the newscast, though he/she might fail depending on who they are trying to talk to). Once you have a dialogue going on for all six of your plot points, you PM them to the other two scriptwriters for critique.

That is when we will look them over. If you agree 100% with the dialogues, then just send a PM saying so. If you have a problem with one or more of them, say what the problem is and how the other person might change it. Once we all agree 100% with each others' dialogues, we're done and it'll be time to move onto the next step. We'll have the script and will be ready to start auditions, I do believe.

Two things I thought of...one, we want to make sure that the news anchor character does not flop all around as far as personality/character goes. I would suggest that he/she (don't name the news anchor; we need to see who we cast first so we know if they're a male or female character) just asks questions professionally, and if one of the characters goes off a bit he/she tries to remind them to answer but if the character is WAY far off (such as if the WW goes on and on about her schemes or something) he/she moves onto the next question. So basically, the news anchor is professional and calm.

Secondly, please post which six plot lines you have chosen so everyone knows which ones are left to choose from.

Ithilwen didn't get a chance to sign up since I moved everything along so fast (lol, I'm a bit excited! ) but now she is now part of the scriptwriting team! That gives four plot points apiece plus two extra. If you are feeling ambitious you can take the extra. Or I can do it.

Also, as I am eager to get started with the script, I am going to grab four to start with (I'll do the four that seem the hardest as, after all, they are my ideas and I myself is the only one that I can blame for 'stupid plot points!'

Oh yeah, also...when plot points are taken I will mark them as so on my list, starting with the four that I'm going to take right now.
