I always pronounced Ramandu with the emphasis on the first syllable, too. Same with Coriakin. COR-ee-uh-kin.

As for Calormen/Calormene, I always said them differently but wondered if they might be he same.

For me the "i" in Reepicheep is short.

Ramandu - Ru-mahn-doo with the emphasis on the middle syllable.

Coriakin - Cor-ee-ah-kin

Calormene - Cuh-lore-mun.

I pretty much pronounce everything the way the pronounce it in the audio dramas, I think.

Oddly I always though Minotaur was pronounced with a "short I" so that the "Mi"part was the same as in Mickey. But in the movie they pronounced it as a long I like in My.

For some reason, I also thought Eustace was "Eustance" until I heard it pronounced by somebody. I have no idea where the extra N came from.

I first read the books many years ago, and didn't have anyone to talk to about them, so I always thought the place itself was Nar-NEYE-ya: long 'i' and stress on second syllable.

The first time i read the books also, i thought that you pronounced Rishta, Ree-ha.

I used to call Caspian "Ca- Spain" like the country I was only three.

I pronounce it with a "CH," like Peep-i-cheek.

I pronounced Telmarines as Tel-mair-ree-ns and Telmar as Telmair even after listening to the audio dramas and the movie. It wasn’t until recently when I was listening to the podcast that I realized I had it wrong in my mind all this time.

I also sometimes want to add a D to the end of Aslan’s name and call him Asland even though I know it’s Aslan.

I pronounce Aslan as Az-lan, not Ass-lan. I originally pronounced Peepiceek with an S because I was never all that good with phonilogical languages. Now it just strikes me as a seriously lame fan-fiction name. Sorry Mr Lewis, you messed up that one.

With all due respect, "Aslan" is not a fan-fiction name. Aslan is the Turkish name for Lion. Or were you referring to Peepiceek?
