Some thoughts about the demographics of Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve in Narnia:
Narnia, Archenland, and Calormen were all founded by descendants of Frank and Helen. The latter two have always had large Human populations, but as of LWW Narnia seems to be bereft of Humans. Where did they all go? The Witch obviously had an interest in clearing Humans out of Narnia to avert the prophecy - but then why did she never make war on the other Human countries?
Also: How does the crew of the Dawn Treader know about chess? Is it perhaps a folk memory preserved from Frank? Or did the Pevensies introduce it in LWW or PC?
Edmund had a (gold) chess set during his time as King in LWW - we don't hear about it then, but he finds one of the pieces in the ruins of Cair Paravel when they go back in PC.
We don't know whether he had introduced the game, though ...

Perhaps because Narnia is where the talking animals first came to being, that is where they chose to stay?

Maybe she was planning to, but she was preoccupied with Narnia because "it is not the Land of Men. It is the country of Aslan..." (quote from Prince Caspian book)
