I wonder dose the fact that the werewolf had not fully transformed matters?

I think that werewolves in Narnia are actually a different species, therefore no one turns into them if they get bitten. I don't think Lewis would go down that road... And it didn't work that way in Tolkien's work either. Beren got his hand bitten off by a werewolf in The Silmarillion, but he didn't turn into one. I don't think every legend of werewolves has them turning other people into wolves. In both Lewis and Tolkien's work they just appear as large, scary, fierce animals on the side of evil.
