I reckon since Caspian was a good guy, he would have become a good werewolf. Turning all wolfy shouldn't have been reason enough to reject him; it's the heart that matters, not the skin. Just as Eustace was not rejected for turning into a dragon.

In fact, turning into a werewolf might have made Caspian even closer to the Narnians, since they are mostly animals and beast-folk anyway.

If it had been that Caspian was turned into a werewolf he would had to of done what Rilian did. Get in a chair and lock him up during the full moon.
He would have had to learn to control his temper as well but in time since he is a good person I think he would have gotten through. But when i think of werewolves, I think vicious not the tame Cullens.

Well... C.S. Lewis's werewolves came before a lot of Hollywood traditions. They didn't have anything to do with the full moon, silver, or any of those other things from the movies. They were more "classical" mythological werewolves, i.e. a man who can turn into a wolf-like beast through magic. Same thing with Tolkien's werewolves, actually!

Berserker I kind of have to disagree with that because the original The Wolfman came out before CS Lewis's Narnian books. It came out in 1941, aka the years of those monster movie phenomenons by Hollywood.

Honestly, I do not think the same rules about becoming werewolves or vampires apply in Narnia.

In fact, the werewolves in Narnia were more wolf and less human with lycanthropy.

^ I'd have to agree I think the werewolves in narnia are more of an entirely different species then either wolf or human.

Caspian a werewolf? there is no mention of this in the books.....sounds creepy and weird and I don't even want to think about what would have happened if he had turned into a werewolf......makes me squeamish!

Yeah I have to agree with Aravis Narnia's theory. Considering Caspian was bitten by the werewolf in the book it wouldn't matter it it had transformed or not just then, Caspian still could have transformed.

I believe it's correct that werewolves and the vampire folklore here does not happen the same way over in Narnia.

Remember Lewis putting in the Narnia Chronicles that Narnia must be ruled by a man (human)? I am currious if this would apply in this situation...

Certainly, the "ruler must be human" point is across several of the Chronicles. I wonder who they'd have gone for instead. I guess Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy would have done their best, but they'd have been very confused and rather wondering why they were there.

I had the same thought: With Caspian a wer-wolf, he could not be a king. I assume then that the throne would pass to Miraz's child (odd bit of fate, that).
I imagine the same rules generally apply to Narnian wer-wolves as to other wer-wolves. Why else would Lewis have specified that the wolf was just then turning from man to wolf?

Yes, but in Narnia, does a werewolf bite turn a human into a werewolf? My guess is that it doesn't. It just hurts.

But, if Caspian did turn into a werewolf, I'm guessing he would have learned some sort of life lesson and then Aslan would change him back.

The thought is kind of weird. But I agree with Movie Aristotle- I don't think in Narnia you turn in to a werewolf. It would probably just be like getting a regular bite from a wolf or whatever.

It wouldn't matter in the movies of Caspian being a werewolf anyways because of his wound was replaced by an arrow from his aunt instead of the werewolves bite.
