@icarus Oh WOW!!!
I don't collect stamps generally, but I think I will have to get at least one of these products. I'll probably go for the Collector's Sheet, which features the stamps alongside Pauline Baynes illustrations on a poster.
Thanks for the heads-up, or I might not have known about this!

It would be nice if there were a Narnia stamp album similar to those that the National Wildlife Federation offered so many years ago. The albums had descriptions of the birds and animals with excellent artwork. They were very educational for children and adults. The stamps were much more beautiful than those purchased from the post office.
Ooh, nice! I am tempted by the postcard versions of the stamps, perhaps. I like that they have the Baynes illustrations as stamps, too; those are particularly lovely in the stamp form. 🙂
If I'd looked at stamp series more over the years, perhaps I could've been a stamp collector with all the fun ones that come out. 😛
I've pre-ordered this and will be hanging it where I can see it every time I walk into my home. It has all the Keith Robinson stamps (two of them repeated) matched up with Pauline Baynes illustrations from the respective books!

That one you've ordered @courtenay looks lovely. When I looked on the Royal Mail website, I was thinking similarly - primarily due to the price and the fact that it has both Pauline Baynes' illustrations and Keith Robinson's. Just wondering though - can I (being in Australia) order one as well or one of the other ones they're selling? Or are they only available for purchase in the UK?

I've just checked — by pretending to order another item (but not completing the purchase) and putting my parents' address in regional Victoria as the delivery address — and yes, they do deliver to Australia!
They also give the warning that there may be customs fees etc. imposed by the destination country, which the customer is responsible for paying. I've had that happen before with items I've ordered from the US to be delivered to the UK, but it's usually imposed on things like jewellery and other valuables. I don't know if it applies to stamps, or posters featuring stamps. Most likely it differs from country to country.
Anyway, the one I bought for myself (in the UK) a few days ago was the already-framed version of the collectors' sheet, which was more expensive than the unframed one, but I figured it probably wouldn't cost more than buying the unframed one and then having to buy a frame for it separately. You'll probably want to order the unframed version, though, since it's going to be shipped overseas: https://shop.royalmail.com/special-stamp-issues/the-chronicles-of-narnia/chronicles-of-narnia-collectors-sheet
That's the item I just pretended to order experimentally and it gave an overseas postage cost of £11.20 for delivery to Australia, which is about AU $23.24. I don't know if the Royal Mail website will automatically show all prices in Aussie dollars if you're accessing it from Australia, but you'll be able to see if that's the case, of course.
Happy buying, if you decide to go ahead!

Heres a nice little PDF catalogue from the Royal Mail containing details about the different sets:

Thanks very much @courtenay! Very much considering it - and yes, that sounds like a very sensible idea to go the non-framed version seeing as it's coming overseas.
I'm just reading an interview of Keith Robinson on the Royal Mail website and I note he says "I’ve tried to take a cinematic approach, almost as though each scene could be a still-frame from an animation." As I read that statement I thought, it would be a pretty good animated series if they were using his illustrations. That could be easily watchable. And as I've often thought in recent years - a good animated version deals with the aging issues of the characters.

@pete I agree, that would be a good style for an animated version! We did have an interesting discussion here a while back about what it might be like if Netflix did Narnia as an animated series — I've just found it again:
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

I was thinking how good my mail would look with a Narnia postage stamp. But then it might be better to collect the stamps in an album than to use them. Some stamps are almost too pretty to use on letters and packages. Since people don’t write very many handwritten letters any more it may be good hobby to collect the stamps in an album or book.
My framed Narnia stamp poster is now up on the wall near my front door! It's awesome. Really good quality frame, too, I must say, so that was worth paying extra for.

I don’t know what C. S. Lewis would think of Narnia stamps. He might have liked them if they had illustrations by Pauline Baynes. I am not certain if he would have liked it if the stamps were designed for the postal service, but if they were made for people’s stamp albums that may have been to his liking. My feeling is that if the postal service would have them it might be a good thing since it may inspire an interest in Narnia. They have Christmas stamps and stamps of birds and other wildlife and even of lighthouses so it might be a good thing to arouse people’s curiosity.
For anyone who's not quite had enough of their Narnia Stamp fix yet, here's an interesting and fairly lengthy video interview with the artist;
