I had to say goodbye
To the dearest ones in my life
See the tears in my eyes
As I've cried

The crowds told me
Just say goodbye
You'll never see them in this life
It's time to move on

Now they've been replaced
But the pain can never be erased
Father's new wife only sees disgrace
I want to leave this place

This is what I said
It's time for goodbye
Let the slave girl get the stripes
I'm running away
Can't stay

My horse and I will go on to find
A new land of a different kind
But now we're in a bind
Lions are chasing behind

I thought we said
This is goodbye
Leave everything evil in past time
What can we do
When we're pursued

We're joined with a warrior and a mere boy
My hopes are almost destroyed

Then the Lion said
