Last week I made this wallpaper after listening to the Narnia soundtrack. I used a tiny amount of "Oil paint and then the component colour mixer.

Oh my goodness! I love that wallpaper. Would you be willing to try to make a widescreen version for me? Normal wallpapers don't work as well with my laptop. If not, that's okay, I just thought I'd ask.

This wallpaper captures that moment perfectly and gives me the same feeling of wonder that Lucy has! I specifically like the watercolor effect. What program did you use to make this?

P.S. - Welcome to NarniaWeb!

MountainFireflower, sure, I'll make a widescreen version, what are the dimensions of your screen? *sorry, I'm not that familiar with wallpaper dimensions yet!
EDIT: MountainFireflower, I used Gimp 2.0, and thank you for the warm welcome! :)

Thanks so much lizzy! My dimensions are 1280x800. :D

Gimp is a good program. I tried working with it until I got Photoshop. :)
Can't wait to see more of your graphics! ;)

Mountain Fireflower: I finally got the widescreen wallpaper up here. I've done what I can. I wasn't so sure how to make it widescreen without it looking stretched, so I made two versions.
The first one is just resized, but with adjustments so Lucy doesn't look so odd from the resize. The second one is cropped a little, but doesn't look so stretched.

I'm so sorry it took so long to post. I've been very busy recently.

Thanks so much, Lizzy! That's absolutely fine, I totally understand. :p

Currently I am using the 1st one, and aside from it being a little cutoff, it works fine. I may end up trying the 2nd one eventually, but for now I am content.

Again, thank you!! I love it! :D
