I really rather like it. The concept is marvelous, and I love the brightness in the right corner.

I might suggest adding something dark, at least, in the right corner at the skyline. An island, perhaps? I know you said that the dawn treader would just be a speck, but I think that there should be something there to bring the eye around. My eye just goes straight to Caspian and sits there. I have to wrench myself away to look at the poster as a whole.

Beautiful work, on the whole. You have great talent. Do us all a favor and start designing their posters!

Oh, you don't really think I'm pointing out "flaws" do you, Beginte? . That's not my intention. I just give my thoughts and you are free to take them or leave them. It wouldn't be very fair to you for me to just talk about the good and what works, would it? (Think about the story of the football coach from Randy Pausch) "Even the master practices to improve". I can only say what I think and hope that you find something helpful or encouraging or makes you proud of the work you have done .

It's amazing. The only thing I'd change is it looks like it needs a little something in the middle, near where the sun is...

Oh, in the original design I had a small rock formation more towards the right, the alternative to that being the same formation on the left (to deepen the distance between Caspian's rock and the horizon), but for some reason I decided to go against it... I'll be posting a poster version, and then I'll try to post another banner, with the rock formation on the right Heh, thanks, I'd love to design posters and covers for Narnia.

Eustace+Jill, it's a drawing made with a tablet in Photoshop, so it does count as hand-drawn... Thanks for liking it! Oh, and I decided to later on post a new version with a rock formation near the sunrise, which I had in my original concept but deleted for some reason, namely to give the expanse of uninterrupted space into which Caspian will be sailing.

I'll also be posting a poster version (vertical) of this image, the original file is huge, so I can make a banner and a poster of it
