What do you guys think about applying some kind of inner and/or outer glow to RD/Lilliandil? I read she had some kind of blue glow coming from within her. Don't know what nuance of blue that is, but I've toyed around a bit with a brighter one in this work in progress poster:
Will it detract from the rest of the poster?
Her left hand is a temp that I've added as she doesn't appear to have one in any of the images I've seen. This will be fixed later if I decide to go with this.
Btw, shouldn't the light in the lantern be more fire..y..? It's pretty cold, isn't it?
Let me know.

Now with the poster being very dark, I actually think the "cold" flame is fitting, it very much reminds me of how they get to the dark island and the description of the lights while their surroundings are dark.
The bright Star girl definitely detracts from the rest. She doesn't seem to be the focus of the poster, but she inevitably draws the attention to herself by being all bright while the rest of the poster is very dark. I actually found it much better without Star Girl at all, with the only light source being the lamp, therefore giving the whole thing some sort of "theme" (Something along the lines of "Hope in dark times?" Sheesh, that sounds corny).
Yeah, well, RD will definitely be in the poster, not getting rid of her. She won't have the glow effect added to her though. I, too, realize that it's gonna be a distraction. Also; I need to have more than a couple of characters on the left and one less is a lot less in this case.
The poster is still far from being done. When it's finished I'm gonna top it all off by adding a second Reepicheep to it as an homage to the marketing people at Fox.
EDIT:
Need feedback. What do you think about the added reflection of Lucy's face in the water? Has to do with this:
Before the three kids are “washed” into Narnia, Lucy is seen staring at herself in a mirror. Dr. Brown believes this is a deliberate foreshadowing of Lucy’s temptation at the magician’s house, when she is sucked in by the beauty spell.
Btw, I've added a blue star to the top left corner of the poster. This is RD/Lilliandil in her star form. Good idea? Bad idea?
Dr. Brown also suggested that the “blue star” the Dawn Treader is told to follow may actually be Ramandu’s daughter. If I remember correctly, in her bodily appearance to the crew later on in the trailer, Ramandu’s daughter is seen with a glowing sphere of blue light inside her body, so this connection seems very likely to me.
Second poster above has a blue tint added to the characters to the right.

I like Georgie's reflection in the water, and the incorporation of the water lilies. The blue star is a nice but subtle addition as well. I like these posters better than the first versions. Good job!

Thanks!
Haven't spent that much more time on this as I've worked a lot. Here's what it looks like now:
I've re-worked the backgorund layers, changed the image of Aslan from the LWW one to a non-Aslan image, added stars to the top of the poster + changed the blue star to a better looking one. I've also removed the blue tint as I've decided that I want more colour to it.

RD/Lilliandil does look better with that glow - more like she is in the trailer. I would go with that. I like Aslan in the background too - not sure if I noticed that earlier.

Excellent job Griffle! It looks like an actual poster from the theaters! Nice work!

How do you like the tagline?
"It will take you to the end of the world"
I think it works quite well placed under the title of the film.

I think it's awesome! I like that tagline better then the ones they're using for the actual movie. *hears Fox gasp aloud* Hehe! Well done Griffle!
