I drew this back in April, but I've only just got around to posting it. Anyway, this is King Tirian from Last Battle. I'm not sure if its entirely accurate to the scene, since I didn't re-read it to check the details, but Tirian is standing by the tree he'd been tied to, looking up at the bonfire.
I'm pretty sure there's a good reason he's drawing his sword, but if not, it's a nice gesture.

Wow this looks great! I love Tirian's outfit, it's very future like to Narnia without changing it a lot. His face looks like he is related to Caspian, I really love his coat. The background was done very nicely too. I love it good job!!

Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
I like this. Nice sketching and the way you did Tirian looks perfect too. I wonder what it would look like if it was colored? I like the details very much. Good job!

This is amazing! I love all the details, especially Tirian's clothes and his sword. Tirian himself looks amazing - just how I imagined him. The whole scene is as I imagined it. This is a really good depiction. I love it. Good job!
If I may ask, what did you use to draw it? A pencil, or something else?

king caspian, how it would look coloured depends very much on how I'd colour it. I'd like it fully realised in oils or acryllic, but I think that's beyond my skill at present.
MountainFireflower, I used a 2b and an hb pencil to do the drawing. It's my favourite combination for this sort of thing.

I like it . The folds of the clothes are great, and I really like the bonfire ! There could be a little more shadows in Tirian's face, and a slightly shorter neck, but I like the beard and all those little details.
Just out of curiosity, what scene is this? When Tirian was freed from the tree, I think that he hadn't his sword... Is this from the moment he came back?
Good work!

WELL done! Very well done! I can only do guys *half* so well... and hardly at all! I love his costume! I think it's a nice guesture for him to be drawing his sword as well. And it reminds me somewhat of Pauline Baynes' drawings too =) Thank you for sharing! =D
:music: risk it all cuz I'll catch you if you fall... if my heart was a house you'd be home :music:
Great work Meltintalle!
I really like how you did Tirian, he looks very determined.
I agree with king caspian, that it would be cool to see this picture done in color!
