Let's see, so far in my Pevensie project, I've done Edmund ... Susan ... it must be Lucy's turn!
The lyrics are from the song, "There Is Life," that plays in the credits of Bambi II. I think it should've played in the credits of LWW, though. It fits so perfectly!
Here's the wallpaper with the quote:

And here it is without:

I added a little something to Lucy's eyes in the one without the lyrics, but I can't decide whether I like it or not. Which do you prefer?

I like the picture, where did you get it? I can't seem to remember seeing it anywhere. But I like it with lyrics, it's pretty cool with the lyrics.

Really beautiful WP, Tarkheena! I think I like the one without lyrics best. Nice texture work, and the fuzziness around the edges is a big plus.
If you don't mind my asking, how did you add the brightness to Lucy's eyes? It's a great touch. If it's complicated, could you possibly do a tutorial? I would love to be able to do that.

Tarkheena, you are talented! This is a nice Wallie! You have convinced me to go listen to that song. That usually doesn't happen, but, I am a big sucker for credits songs. I don't know, there's just something about the feel of them. Happy-go-luckyness maybe? the feeling of accomplishment? lol Anywayz, lovely graphic! I really how the word 'life' is portrayed here. The color and the fading.
I LOVE these Tarkheena!! I love the fuzzy texture you used for both of them, and I especially love the effect for the "Life" text you used!! The lighting touch in the second one on Lucy's eyes is just gorgeous! I would be very interested in seeing the lighting effects in the second being applied to the first. I love the lively effect it gives to the whole piece, and it just seems to echo the words you used. I have never heard that song, but now I must find it!! lol
I think these two are the best wallies you've posted yet!! Well done!!

Shy Galadriel: Isn't that a sweet picture of her? I got it from spareoom.net, in the Prince Caspian movie photos. And I'm glad you like the lyrics. So do I.
Adeona: The brightness to Lucy's eyes is easy, but I'm not sure it could be reproduced in another program. I use Microsoft PictureIt. It has an editing tool that senses lines and allows you to cut out an object. I used that to cut out her eyes, then I heightened the saturation, brightness and contrast.
DaughterofEve: I'm flattered! What did you think of the song? I like it a lot... well, obviously.
LadyCourage: Thank you so much! I got the song on iTunes, if that helps.
Thanks to everybody for your thoughtful comments! Peter's wallpaper is next.

Wow, that is amazing!
How did you make the text transparent against the frosty effect like that?
And how did you get the design in the corner?
~Riella
I add text and designs to most of my graphics on Picnik, because it's easy to use and they have a great selection. I love cool fonts, so on Picnik I'm like a kid in a candy store!
I made the text transparent with Picnik's text overlay option.

I agree with Lady Courage, beautiful wallpapers! I personally like the 2nd slightly better, the colouring just makes it pop, but then again the words you've chosen work wonderfully two-so maybe the two together would be the very ebst
Grief for the movies made me abandon narniaweb...but I'm so glad to be back!
Many thanks to the wonderful Lady Eowyn for making my sig/av.
