Let's see, oh yeah, I remember this illustration 2nd to One. I've got that one all set up on the list. Looks like you still have one for chpt. 14 of SC. I have it marked as "The Earthmen's Journey" (I think that's a non-specific title that I came up for this illustration just so I had a mark before you finished it). As of now, I don't have a completed illustration down for this one yet. Are you still interested in this scene?

I was also thinking about the sort of "intro. text" that could be used for SC. I've got two ideas off the top of my head. One would be the Lady of the Green Kirtle's line about her world ("There is no other world but my own". Something along those lines, I can't remember the specifics). The other idea is to incorporate part of Puddleglum's speech ("I'm going to live life as a Narnian, even if there isn't any Narnia".) Let me know of your thoughts on these passages or if anyone else has any other ideas on the opening text to use for SC.

What about: "Many fall down, and few return to the sunlit lands"? Or the "password" version: "Many sink down to the Underworld, and..."? Or "Many have taken ship at the pale beaches, and...". .

I think that the excerpt of Puddleglum's speech would be best. I do like the "Many sink down to the Underworld..." though.

I'm glad you still have interest and excitement for the project Mehinen . Right now, we're trying to work out a new location for the illustrations. I think that it's best to resolve this matter first before adding another book into the workload of revamping. This will also allow for some cushion time for those who still need to complete their illustrations. I'm just as anxious to start LB as you are, but we've got to remember patience. Don't worry though, when the time comes, I'll be sure to let you know .
