I realized about a week ago that I had never really done a poster for LWW, and that, seeing as this is all the images for LWW we'll ever have, I should try my hand at one. Here is the result. It's a bit on the simpler side, but I think I like it that way.
Your comments and criticism are welcome, as always.

Oh, beautiful work! Honestly, breathtakingly amazing! Such wonderful, clean blending, and I very much like your choice of pictures for the Pevensies, not at all what we usually see on the official posters (apart from Peter). I'm in love with the partition of the poster between Aslan and Jadis, and the way the warm gold/orange blends with cool blue/silver! Awesome blending into semi-darkness at the bottom!
The only thing is, you might have retouched Aslan's tail from the picture, since it looks like a straw of wild grass from Lucy's hair, or a veeeery bizarre feather tucked behind her ear, but that's the only thing... it also clashes too much with Jadis' sword, to me it creates a lil bit of a mess.
But other than that, it is simply beautiful! Wonderful work, I once again love the choice of pictures and the colors of the entire piece! Bravo!
I've seen the movie 9 times!!! (PC)
I've seen the movie 7 times!!! (VoDT) And loved it!

Narnialover, I have to tell you- this is a great piece of art. I love how the colors mix and I can honestly see something like this on a Disney poster. As Beginte said, the sword, Lucy and Aslan's tail collide at the midpoint which is directly where your eyes want to focus. However, overall, you did a great job
I really like it, yes, it's simple. But as you said I like it that way. I love how Ed's between the two sides .

I like it quite alot. I agree with Beginte about Aslan's feather--I mean, tail, though . Even though it's part of the original image, it could be edited out without it looking strange, and would aid the whole put-togetherness of the piece.
Also, the picture of Lucy looks as though it has been flipped. I don't know if it actually has been, but it distracts my eyes and makes me wonder what's wrong with it. If you could find another picture from that scene with her in a better position and substitute it, I would like it much better.
My favorite part is the overall simplicity, and the contrast of the warm colors of Aslan with the cool blue of the witch. It really is a nice, subtle hint of the fact that they're adversaries.
Nice job!

Simple is great! Your blending is awesome, 'cept for this one little spot above Peter's head that I saw. The colors are good overall, and I like how it gets darker near the bottom of the wallie. Good contrasts/dynamics!

Nice LWW poster narnialover101. Overall design and layout look good. Your choices of imagery work well for the piece and the blending is superb (was the blending of Edmund's head with Peter's body meant to be a pun off of the original LWW poster?). I especially like the fades with the BG's, very well done. Coloration throughgout is fantastic. The contrast between the warm yellows and oranges on Aslan's side with the icy blues and whites on Jadis' side is visually stunning. The way the layout of this poster is, I would like to see it split into two versions (sort of like two promo posters like the Miraz and Caspians posters were for PC). For me, I feel like Aslan isn't getting quite enough space and there's a tiny bit too much of negative space above Jadis. The blending between these two images is great, so I'd really like to see a poster contrasting the two (sans the Pevensie imagery). The coloration contrast just calls for it (in addition to the fact that they are not facing each other). The second poster I would like to see from this version would one version focusing on the Pevensies (same images and layout). I completely understand the reasoning behind your layout and I do think it works (nice story connection by placing Edmund on the center line), but it does have a bit of a visual weight to the left side of the piece. Perhaps adding a few enemy characters to Jadis' side would help the balance, but I think that would just make the piece too cluttered and take away from the imagery that is. It's nice to see another poster rendition for LWW. Nice work .

Wow. That is amazing! I absolutely love it. Your blending of all the pictures is amazing, creating a masterpiece of colour to feed your eyes on. I seriously think this is up to standard, if not better than the posters they put out to promote the movies. Maybe Walden should take you on. Fantastic, excellent piece of work. Have you done others for PC? I don't think I've ever seen them if you have, but I think I'll go hunting for some (or could you link me to them?)
