I don't know if these are recent, but here are a couple of covers of The Last Battle that stood out to me.

I like the second one better. It gives away more of the plot, but it's striking in its weirdness.

@jasminetarkheena I appreciate some things about the first one, but honestly I'm not sorry it didn't make the cut. The colors are so dingy.
