Nice wp Narnian_Badger. Overall design and layout look good. I really like your choices of imagery and, however different they are, they do seem to reflect one another quite nicely (and effectively). Text also works really well with the imagery and the concept of the piece. Coloration of the text matches very effectively with that of the BG image. I like the coloration in the BG, although I'm not really sure why you chose the image that you did as a BG (I'm not really connecting with how it connects back to the rest of the piece. Maybe that's just me). I wasn't really sure on the extra "sparkle" treatment in the corner. However, on a closer look, if you look at it in just the right manner it seems to have the same flow as the characters (the layout of how they are sitting flows from one image to the next. A nice subtle addition). Nice work .

That's a very nice wallpaper, Narnian_Badger! I love how you tied in the idea from the two stories because it definitely works great for a wallpaper. The words you put along with it fit perfectly as well! I think they add some extra charm to the whole idea.

My only CC, is that I think the bottom picture seems a little bit smaller and overpowered my the one from VDT on top. Maybe that's just me, though. Also, I don't know if the wallpaper came with the sparkles that are in the right corner, but I think since they're on that side, the left side seems a little empty, so maybe if there was some faded texture there as well, it would balance out the wallie a bit more.

Besides that, I think you did a very lovely job!

Lion's Emblem: Thank you for a good, well-rounded critique; it means a lot. The background I used was created by me expressly for the wallpaper, and it started out as just black with the blue line running diagonal through it. When I started to put the images on, I realized it needed something in the corner. And, since the background already had an [outer]spacey-feel, and it went along with the idea that the game is universally boring, I brushed on a few celestial images.

Quinlin: Thanks! The rhyme just sort of popped into my head when I saw the photo, if you understand me. Looking at the wallpaper again, I agree with you that the sparkles are a bit overpowering; I'll go back and fix that when I have the time.
