Well we were playing the graphics game in the chat the other day, and I made one of my first wallies,

I really loved the way it came out... :D

C&CC are highly welcomed!

Very cool, Fire-wolf! (Oh yeah, it's Ice-wolf now, isn't it? 8-} ) I believe we participated in that round together, if I'm not mistaken... I'm glad you decided to post yours too! :) I love the text! What effect did you use on it?

Hey Wolfy,

I think your wallie turned out great. I am always impressed with the level of creativity you put into your work.

Thanks EJ and Windsong for your comments :D.

@EJ: Um I can remember exactly, I just played around with the layers dialouge, until I got it the way I liked it. Most likely I set it to value or saturation. I wish I could be of more help... :( ... next time I shall write down what I do so I can answer questions more thoroughly :)

wolfloversk, I think you did a very lovely job! Firstly, I've always loved this picture of Susan because you can do so much with the coloring and you of course did a spectacular job at that. I like the soft tones and yet how the green colors of the forest, particularly the moss on the trees stands out and makes the effects of the wallie really great! :) I also love the placement of the text, the quote you chose to use as it works very nicely here. The font is very pretty...would you please tell me what it's called? I like the simplicity of it, yet the scriptish look it has as well. It looks so much like someone hand wrote it on the wallie. As for how you screened & overlayed the text so it picks up the colors of the background and glows with flowing orange and red colors! Very nice work! :D
