Here is another attempt at a wallpaper.
I’m not sure if Aslan’s face is to distracting or not, but I felt it needed a background.

Oooh . . . cool concept! Love the coloring and picture choices and quote -- especially the quote. (You've inspired me to dig out my C. S. Lewis books and plug quotes into my graphics! )
My only suggestion would be to blend the winter pic into the spring one a bit more. Maybe try fading the black and white into color? Other than that, awesome!
Do we get more soon?

Great wp 7chronicles. I really like the concept idea on this one . Overall design and layout look good. The blending of imagery is flawless and I really love the division between them (how Peter appears to be stepping into the Spring image). Wonderfully executed. I also really like the "crackle" effect to the winter side (it just works to push the idea of winter even more and adds contrast to the spring imagery). Hmm. I'm not really going for the image of Aslan. The way the image is cropped, it feels like Aslan is giving me a frowny face, especially with his intense eyes. I do agree with you that the BG needs something. Perhaps a border design instead, so as not to be distracting, but to add a finishing touch to the piece (just a thought). The text is a great matchup to the concept of the piece: in connection to the imagery, the font, layout, and coloration (all working really well). Nice work .

@Tarkheena: Thanks! I’m glad you like it!
I attempted to blend the images, but I still could not figure out how to blend them the way I wanted it (I’m still learning about Photoshop).
So I added a little color into peter, I’m not sure if you can tell the difference though.
I’m glad I’ve inspired you to use C. S. Lewis’ quotes on your wallpapers! I can’t wait to see what you do with them!
Until I can think of a picture to draw for Narnia I think I’ll do wallpapers in between my drawings, I’m glad you like them!
@Lion’s Emblem: Thanks! I’m so glad you suggested to do a border instead of Aslan’s face!
I wasn’t really happy with how his face turned out so I'm really glad for your advice, it really helped me out.
I went ahead and tried out a border instead like you suggested, I’m not sure if I should use this one or something different? Or if I should change the coloring of it?
Here is the one with the border:
And here is the one with a little color added to Peter's face:

Wow, the border addition looks great 7chronicles. It has really strengthened the piece. But, it doesn't really matter what I think, it's most important what you feel about the change (how do you feel about it?). The color flow between the sides of winter and spring is great. Both are mute enough to not draw all the attention away from the main imagery, but still forward enough to say all that it needs to say. Nice work here (I think going with a blue instead of gray on the winter side would have been too "intense", so what you have works really well). The addition of color to Peter's face defintiely adds another perspective to the piece. I like the effect it has, adding to the text of 'stepping into spring', but the first version also works just as effectively. I really don't think that one version is "better" than the other in this department. Both are awesome. Nice work .

Wow, each version of this wp gets a little better, but I love all of them. I really like your blending, especially the last one where you added some color to Peter's face. The whole thing is quite beautiful. The only suggestion I would have is that on the third version of the wallpaper, the text is kind of hard to read, and if I didn't already know what it said I could have gotten confused. I can see how difficult it probably was to blend though, and I think you did a really great job in spite of the trickiness of this piece. I love it!

@Lion‘s Emblem: Thanks so much Lion’s Emblem! I like it much better with the border, I feel much better about it now! Thanks for asking! And again Thanks for your advice!
@MountainFireflower:Thank you! I’m glad you noticed the text, I didn’t even noticed it until you said something.
I forgot to bring the text into the forefront of the picture.
So I went ahead and fixed it so you can read the text now. Thanks again!
Here is the link to the third one with the text fixed:
