I've always loved the lamppost scene in LWW and was inspired to create this WP. I hope you enjoy it!

Comments are love!

Very nice work, Wunder! :) The blending is stunning- the choice of images flow together really nicely, and I like how you chose to have one of the images bigger and more in the foreground (or so it appears) instead of having them all the same size. :) The colouring and text are also well done- my only CC is that I'm not entirely sure if I like how some of the words "Winter Light" go over the text up above- blocking out the the "p" and the "e". Perhaps it's just me, though...

I'm saving this one, if you don't mind. :) Thanks! :)

Beautiful job, Wunder!! :D The blending is incredible!! After saying that, I have to pretty much echo everything Fanny said. This was one of the headers I was really having a hard time deciding between. It's so beautiful!

She hoped to be wise and reasonable in time; but alas!
She must confess to herself that she was not wise yet.

Thanks for all the lovely comments.

I was having a bit of trouble with the text. I liked the scripty font I chose for the bottom but couldn't get the print text to fit very well so I ended up putting it over the scripty font with a bit of a shadow behind it. I guess it is a little hard to read.

I'm pretty pleased with how the blending and coloring turned out.

Feel free to save it! *blushes* I'm flattered!

Nice wp Wunderkind_Lucy. The blending of imagery looks great. The variety of imagery for this one moment are effective choices and really match the concept of the piece (the use of a close-up and mid-shots are also effective). I'm not sure of the layout with the close-up image of Lucy on the left. It's great that this image is not in the dead center of the piece, but I find that the large lamppost is a bit distracting and my eye continually goes back to it (it definitely draws me away from the rest of the elements of the piece). Text works well with your choice of imagery: in context, layout, coloration, and fonts. I also agree on the layering between the lines of text. Sure, it can still be read, but I don't believe that it is as strong as it could be on a visual level. Perhaps, if the first line of text were postioned a little more to the left or right (to allow for some of the letter spacing to fit between the text of "winterlight") and layered on top of the bottom line of text, it may help some. Coloration throughout looks great, the blue tones work really well with the snow and "wintery" feel. Nice work .

Very splenid job Wunderkind_Lucy, !!!! That is one gorgeous piece of fan art. I love your choice of pics, and the blending is flawless! (I know i'm repeating what you already know, but I just have to say it again) i love your color, with really brings out the 'winterlight'. You've sharpened and blurred it just in the perfect equality. Good job!

Great blending, Wunderkind_Lucy, and awesome coloring. :D I really like your use of text with the normal type and then cursive font underneath.

eves_d: I had a feeling you were going to say that. The positioning wasn't working to well, and I couldn't find anything better, lol. Love the new avie, btw.
