Cool.
Have you tried fill layers yet? They will improve your graphics a lot. (If you don't know what a fill layer is or how to do one, just PM me or talk to me on chat)
And you can also download really great fonts at dafont.com.

Quite nice, Katana!!
I like the Susan one, although it's a bit blurry. The determined look on her face matches the words!
The Miraz one looks like a political cartoon. 
The last one was also very blurry, and the words seemed to fade into the picture- it might just be me, but I had to squint to read it.
But, good job!

I made the ones you described blurry on purpose, its one of my favorite distorts on photobucket
and I know the Return one is hard to see but I simply could not find the right color shade that looked nice and showed up haha.
