HM: I used the cloud render filter on PSE 6.0 on layers of white, gray, and black. Then I added some grunge brushes. I'm not sure if GIMP has the cloud rendering filter, though.

General Notice:
Just so everyone is on the same page, this thread is for posting Narnian-related resources only, or resources that can be used for anything. This includes textures, brushes and etc. Non-Narnian bases that cannot be used for Narnian artwork needs to go in the Non-Narnian thread. This has always been the rule, but it's been fuzzy, so the Fan Art moderators decided to make this more clear to everyone. Just a little FYI.
All existing resources may stay, but in the future, please post non-Narnian bases in the Non-Narnian artwork thread in the Spareoom forum.

HM, I started with a black bg and just added combinations of white cloud/smoke brushes. And I used the blur tool a lot. 
I love your textures, Wunder!

Thanks hyaline12 I'll have to try make some one time. And thank you Wunder too, but I don't think it does have that filter. I'll look anyway though.
