Hmm... well, apart from scanning Pauline Baynes' fabulous pictures you could perhaps collaborate with some people willing to draw one or more pictures of one or more characters? I like the idea of the MN scrapbook Maybe you can take some handwriting textures or brushes and make them into a picture pretending to be a sheet from Polly's story, which you could put somewhere on her character page Just small suggestions from me, I hope I was useful and wasn't too nosy

I think that's a great idea! Small suggestion: I think you should definitely have Fledge in your scrapbook.

That is a great idea beginte. Its just 2 bad i don't still have calligraphy kit. It is a an intresting idea and i might do it, do you have any thoughts about what polly would write in her story?

I have a great image for what to do for the wood between worlds chapter.

You might want to take a piece of a dried apple, some leaves and tree bark to give it a more elemental feeling? I wish you the best on your

Oh, the good thing about calligraphy brushes (you can find them on Brusheezy.com, I can send you precise links to some if you want) is that you can't actually see what's written there, the letters are written in such a way that you can't read what they say, so they would be good for sheets from Polly's story And if you decide for it, I can always volunteer to draw a portrait of Polly or Diggory or the two of them together - just offering my humble services if you want them

Neat idea, ILF! I just thought of something - suppose a news reporter happened to snap a picture of Jadis in London? I can see the newspaper headline now - Madwoman Causes Havoc! or something like that. Just thought that a newspaper clipping might be fun to do, should you have the creative urge.

yes the drawing would be great since i am not that good at drawing people. (usually stick to animals and objects) thanks very much for wannting to be envolved.

Silver the Wanderer: that is a great idea and i will keep it in mind for the chapter that jadis makes it to london. It is soemthing different and i hope I want to do it when i get up to that page.

You could doctor up a picture of London with a lampost missing? That might add some flavor to your scrapbook.

As for Digory, when I think of him, I always remember that scene when Polly peers over the wall and sees him for the first time. His face is smeared with dirt and tears, and he's pretty much rumpled and mussed overall -- and I think I remember Lewis writing something specific about the clothes boys wore back then: stiff, itchy collars and such.

Polly's somewhat prissy, imaginative, and vain (remember how the evil Uncle flattered her into taking a ring?). Something tells me she'd be careful of her appearence ...... just brainstorming. Hope I've helped!

No problem, it will be fun and I'm honored you're considering my involvement in your project Just let me know if you decide to let me draw Polly (I always adored her for some reason), just a portrait and tell me how you expect it to look like (I was thinking of a photograph, very old with that cool post-stamp-like chipped pattern on the edges) and I'll do my best to meet your expectations

yes i would like it to be polly and the old looking photograph is a good idea..(portrait) just don't make the picture 2 big because it has to fit on a A4 page and i need to put other stuff on it 2.(each character will have 2 A4 pages). thanks for wanting to do this.

also i have a draft of uncle andrews study(it will not be just a drawing for the scrap book i wilkl do stuff like make the chair out of felt)
