First off: :-o :-o :-o ! Your drawings are amazing! They are some of the most realistic portraits of the characters that I have seen on this forum.

As for which style to use, I think that faded looks the most realistic, but sepia brings out the details more. So either of those would look great by my standards. (I voted for faded.)

Finally I can post! Sorry for the wait, I’ve been busy the last few days. :)

@MinotaurforAslan:
Thanks You so Much!!!! :D I'm so glad you like them! :D And Thank You you for telling me which one you like better! :)

What if you did the lamppost scene for Mr. Tumnus, and for Lucy you could do her going into the wardrobe? (Just trying to find a way to fit that wardrobe in there since it's such an iconic image and a beautiful prop! :) )

Thanks for your help Silver the Wanderer, I definitely think the wardrobe would be a perfect background for Lucy, and the Lamppost with Mr. Tumnus, that way both scenes are included! Thanks! :D

Sorry for the delay 7chronicles.

Don’t worry about it, I’m just thankful for your input, its greatly appreciated! :D

I would say to definitely go with a midtone color. I personally prefer a mid gray because it's equally favorable to black and white (really great with charcoal and white chalk).

I think I have seen this color before and I do like it a lot, I need to make a trip to get more art supplies, I’m going to pick up some toned paper while I’m there. :)

Now these aren't colors that I have personally tried, but I have seen really great pieces done with a slate blue or sap green (a connection to the woods in PC perhaps?) toned paper (though both were completed with several colors of chalk pastels, not just black and white). This might be something you'll want to experiment with (I'm not sure to what degree you have personally worked with chalk pastels or toned paper). Ultimately, it's up to you though.

That sounds like a really cool Idea! :D I like the idea of matching the colors match with PC! :D
I’ve only worked with Chalk pastels a few times, but that is it. :p
I’m definitely going to need to experiment, but this will give me a chance to maybe improve in my chalk pastels. :)
I’ll buy both toned papers and experiment and I’d Love to get yours and everyone else opinions of it once I‘m done! :D
Thanks so much for the suggestion Lion’s Emblem! :D I can't wait to try it out! :D

Here is Mr. and Mrs. Beaver's Credit! :D
I was having a hard time trying to figure out what to put in the background because they have a larger portrait, so I did their house. :)
But if anyone has a different suggestion, please let me know! :) Thanks! :D

Those are incredible. My favorite so far has to be this last one; Mr. and Mrs. Beaver look exactly like themselves! :)

I vote for the white style. Narnia is always associated with snow in my mind, and white seems to reflect that best in your stunning work. All of the styles are really lovely, however, so I'll love any you post.

You're very welcome! I'm so glad I could be of help! :D

And wow, the Beavers are simply stunning! I love the fur! (I love drawing fur - it's so much fun :p ) And their dam looks very lifelike - I love how you were able to leave places blank so as to make it look like snow!

I can't wait to see more!

@Tarkheena: Thank You! :D I’m so happy you like them! :D :)

@Silver the Wanderer: Yes fur is very fun to draw! :p
I’ll glad you like their dam! :D I was worried it wouldn’t blend as well, so I’m glad you like it! :)

I've been so busy that I havn't been able to take the time to draw. :-o
But things should slow down after this week, so I hope to get some more Credits done! :)

Also I have updated my first post to included a list of what Cast pictures I have completed, so it is easier to see who I’ve drawn so far. I’ll continue to update that list every time I add a Cast picture. :)

My Uncle has asked me to paint a large picture for him to give to someone as a gift for Christmas, so I will be putting some time into that first before I can continue with the LWW Cast Credits, but it is my goal to complete these once I am done with that! :)
I’m so sorry I haven’t updated!
After Christmas, there is nothing stopping me from completing these. ;) Thanks so much again for all your kind commits and advice, and for your patience! :D

Woohoo! Another wonderful drawing! I love it! That sign looks just like the real thing! You copied the font pretty much perfectly! And more awesome fur! ;) Well done!

Aw, that's nice of you to do that for your uncle. Take all the time you need! :)

Excellent job! You have a knack for picking just the right image to portray the characters. :)

I think I'll sound like an echo of Silver's post if I say anything else. ;)) But yeah, take your time. I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job on the gift-painting.

Nice work on the Beavers and Maugrim pieces 7chronicles. I didn't know that you had plans to do pieces for the voice actors as well, but it's nice to see them included as well.

I really like the Maugrim version (probably my favorite of the talking animal pieces so far). The "warrrant of arrest" looks awesome, all the detail really makes it "pop". The shadings on Maugrim are also fantastic. I know it's a little late now, but it might have been nice to have seen a bit more of a growl on Maugrim's face to push the idea of his character. However, the expression in his eyes works really well (there's a lot of character and emotion there).

The Beavers piece also works really nicely. Their expressions state their characters very clearly. The shadings on the Beavers add great detail. It might be nice to see a bit more detail in the dam (however, it's not necessary) even though it may be covered in snow.

Nice work on all and I can't wait to see the complete set :) .

@Silver the Wanderer: Thanks! :D I’m sure I’ve said it before, but I Love to draw fur! :p
And Thanks for Patients! :)

@Meltintalle: I’m glad you like the pictures I choose to add with the characters! :D
And Thank you for your encouragement on the painting. I’m rather nervous because I don’t usually use watercolors, and I want to do a good job for him. God Willing it will turn out well. :)

@Lion’s Emblem: Thank you so much! :D
I decided to do the voice actors as well because at the end of The Return of the King, they included the voice actors, like Gollum. So I thought it would be neat to add them here. :)
A bit of a growl would have been a nice, and unfortunately I had a hard time finding a clear picture of the Beaver’s dam which made it hard to get all the details. But I’m glad it still works! :)
BTW, I haven’t forgotten about trying out the toned paper. ;)
I went looking for it at the art store and could not find any. :(
I think I’ll have to order online and get some. :)

Thanks again to everyone! :D

Wesome work on Peter!!! :-o Absolutely amazing! You caught his features just right, I love the job you did! And the details are amazing! I love them, his hair is perfect! I love the motion! And I also love the picture you chose for him!

Now, as per the preference, I think I like the 'clear' option better, though if it was a bit brighter... just a bit, it's a tad too dark, but this is only my pseronal preference :)

Once again: :-o

Finally after a long delay I have finished another cast credit! :D
The painting I painted for my Uncle turned out great (Thank the Lord)! :) So now I can put more of my time into finishing the LWW Cast Credits!

Here is Mr. Tumnus! I hope you guys like it! :)
I’m not sure if I should add his panpipes or leave it as is?

Wow, 7! This is amazing! I love his eyes - they look so lifelike! His hair too! And the texture of his scarf! And the lamppost in the background is a very nice touch! Basically, I just love everything about this. :D

I wouldn't add the panpipes - it might make things a little too crowded, unless you made him holding them or something. But it's up to you. :)

Silver has said everything I thought of. :p ;)) Your drawings are beautiful!

But yeah, having Tumnus holding the panpipes seems like the best option, and I think that would end up looking awkward with the pose you chose. :)
