[Closed] Lucy Letting Go WP

Here is a wallpaper that I made of Lucy using the lyrics from the song Letting Go by Jeremy Camp. I sort of tried to give it the feel that Lucy must of felt as she told Aslan goodbye in PC. I am not sure if I succeeded though, so CC and C is appreciated. Thank you! :D

I made 4 versions of it with different amounts of lettering. I am not sure which one I prefer, so please let me know which is your favorite.

Nice job, sis. I can see it took a lot of work to produce this. I love the blending. Especially Alsan's face in the middle. I wasn't quite so sure about the face in the top left corner. My sister said it was there, but I wasn't so sure. A little too transparent maybe. The close up of Lucy was a bit pixily. Just a bit.
I like the graphic without the words. It's nice and simple.
When I first saw the sencond graphic with just the words at the top, it seemed a little glaring. The color was a little to bright, and I didn't feel the fontworked well with the picture. The lettering worked better in the last version, when it was put together with the rest of the words. The shades of pink work together and the font looked better with all the other variety.
But again, it is a lovely wall paper. Nice job!

These are quite nice Lady Lucy,! I do agree with princess_of_narnia, that the first version is very nice, and simple, making it quite appealing. And also that the text is slightly distracting and bright. But your idea, and purpose for this wally is very clear. I believe the full text on 4, and the part text on 3 really capture the feeling your trying to reach. I do believe your choice of images is great. They are a bit pixelly but still nice. I like the blending job, since it was nicely done. The color is quite nice, along with the fonts!

You did a very nice job!

A great set of wps Lady Lucy. I completely agree with princess_of_narnia and lover of narnia, that your first wp is the most effective. I think that the others just have too much text that it takes away from the power of the imagery (and becomes a bit crowded on some variations). Don't be afraid to leave text out of a wp. Remember that "for some moments in life, there are no words." I also agree that the brighter colored text on the other variations comes off too strong, especially since the imagery is darker in color.

Your choices of imagery work well for the concept of the piece. The blending of imagery is also great. I really like how you have a transparent image of Aslan near the center of the piece (a thumbs up for not putting it in the dead center), it's really effective on a visual level. I'm not sure if you changed anything with the image of Lucy in Narnia, but it seems to have a bit of a stylized or painterly feel. I think it works well because it seems to merge within the BG elements. Nice work .

I love the quality and softness of the picture to the left. ;) Yes, the one on the right is a bit pixely, but you cannot do anything about that, I assume.
Your blending is awesome, although i might've liked to see just a bit more color of the Golden Lion in there. ;)
Personally, I would have just used two fonts, maybe three. It seems to be a bit distracting to me, although it is a new and different look to the wallie. ;)
I would definetly encourage you to keep making these! I think you have creativity that would develop well as you experiment with wallpapers.
