"Duffers" (part 4)

As I enter, my heart pounds
Except my breath, there is no sound
The book is sitting on a stand
As if my visit had been planned

Inside it there is much to see
And I forget my wish to flee
One page fills the room with snow
Another makes one's beauty glow

I want to read the latter one
And knowing well what I have done
I tear it out, hide it away
For this sin I'll dearly pay

A roar seems to come from the book
Pages flip, hiding what I took
They stop at a page that's bright and clean
The spell to make the invisible seen

When I look up, I see a man
With a book in his hand
He must have been invisible too
I'm not sure now what I should do

Oh I love your poems! they are so colorful and they make me feel happy and warm and good. that's the only way i know how to describe it...

"Duffers" (part 5)

Suddenly, the Voices appear
And they are nothing at all to fear
Our fear for Lucy is again aroused
They tell us she is in the house

To our joy she comes at last
With the Man who's spell she cast
He tells us that he saw the lords
And tells us to find the seven swords
He lays a map upon the floor
And tells us what we should look for
A Blue Star in the sky to guide
And mighty Aslan at our side

Something soon will test us all
We must not heed temptation's call
We will not be rested
Until we have been tested

"Of Gold and Dragons" (part 1)

After many days and nights
Another island comes in sight
It is very hot and dry
The sun shines brightly from the sky

As we take a look around
We find a cave under the ground
A pool lies inside the cave
There we see something grave

A figure of a man lies still
Turned to gold, his fate was ill
He was one of the seven lords
We hastily retrieve his sword

Quietly, I sneak away
I don't want to work all day
I really wish I could go home
But for now I'll be content to roam

I've not gone far, when suddenly
The ground gives way beneath me
When I look up, all I see is gold
It's all around me in the hole

I wonder if I'm dead
But greed fills my head
I fill my pockets full
As temptation pulls

"Of Gold and Dragons" (part 3)

The statue in the water draws me
I reach with a stick so I can see
But then the stick is turned to gold!
It becomes far to heavy to hold

So that's what happened to the man
When he came upon this land
And this makes me want what he'd found
In this cave under the ground

I want this pool for my own
But Caspian's greed is also shown
We fight each other for the gold
It happened just like we'd been told

Lucy makes us stop and think
Just as we are on the brink
This is what Coriakin said
Temptation had filled my head

We hurry away from that place
Shame is written on my face
How could I have been so deceived?
I turn my back and quickly leave

"Of Gold and Dragons" (part 4)

We return to find that Eustace fled
I wonder what got in his head
So we go off, calling his name
But every time he never came

We come upon a hoard of gold
And what I see makes my heart cold
My cousin's clothes, empty and charred
This awful day is further marred

In that place we also see
Someone else who didn't flee
A skeleton of a lord
We search the gold and find his sword
