Wow, Libby! This is all really good! Love it much
this one is about the part in HHB when Shasta and Bree are chased by Aslan and meet up with Aravis and Hwin
"Moonlit Chase"
Horses hooves pound the ground
Darkness gathers all around
On either side a beast gives chase
Horses and riders now make haste
Splashing through the water fast!
This ride, they know, will not long last
Turning back they look and see
The Lion stayed and they are free
The riders meet, the horses speak
All four of them are now quite weak
Reluctantly they make their way
Together through the night and day

Hey Liberty,
I liked how you paced this poem. I could feel myself on the back of a horse as I was reading this. Good job.

"The Voyage"
We're on a voyage to find lost men
Adventures we doth seek
We will journey long and hard
Not stopping 'til we're weak
The sea holds dangers in it's depths
And land no one has seen
But Aslan will show us the way
And we are all quite keen
To sail away toward the world's end
And there what shall we find?
Aslan's Country rising high
Beyond the East sunrise

always be humble and kind
"Under Me"
Remember the signs, remember the signs
Or you will loose your way
Temptations arise, temptations arise
That might lead you astray
Under Me
Under Me
Go down Under Me
Under Me
Under Me
To help the prince go free

"The Picture in the Bedroom"
Short, but it shows promise. Nice job.
"Lucy And Tumnus"
I love it ! Terrific, you gave the old familiar story. You did it extremely well. I love the rhythm to it.
"Further Up And Further In"
Further up and further in!
Come, do not delay
Aslan's land awaits us there
And He'll show us the way
Further up and Further in!
Forever we shall stay
This chapter has just begun

"Moonlit Chase"
-This one is my fav so far, Libby. I love how you manage to tell the story so effectively, and your rhythym and rhyme is perfect!
"Under Me"
-I really loves the flow of this poem- the repititon (if that's the right term) really is a nice artistic touch
"Further Up And Further In"
-This one is awesome! I especially loved the last line
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
i didn't know that u were a poet!
Christmas is Coming so soon
but we know the True Reason for the season
"I Come Alive Somehow"
Fly away to hide so they can leave
I lay here so that I now can grieve
What will become of me now?
I will have to cope like this somehow
Who is this that comes toward me?
A Lion, bathed in light I see
"Follow me," says his voice
And I know I have no choice
We come now into the hills
In a pool, water spills
"You must undress," He says to me
I scrape my scales and rip them free
But I can't do this on my own
My weakness now is plainly shown
I lay down upon my back
The Lion has what I lack
Digging deep he rips away
My dragon skin, which now decays
Once I wash I now can see
The Dragon's gone and I am free

"The Star and the Son"
Oh, Lilliandil, full of life
So happy was I you were my wife
You shone out brightly like a star
For many years you were not far
But cursed be the serpent who came
to you
It's scales and poison a greenish
hue
What did you do to deserve this
now?
I must avenge your death somehow
Rillian, my son, He rode
Finding your killer was his goad
But the Lady swooned him in
Oh how could He have done this sin?
I sailed on the sea once
more
Bereavement has left me
quite sore
I have returned a broken
man
But who is this who takes my hand?
My son, returned back from the dead
Forgiveness on my face he read
