I decided to draw Lady of the Green Kirtle, as part of
Beginte’s fan Campaign for SC!
On the colored one, I just laid color over the sketch so it might look a little funny.
It didn't come out as clean lined as I would like, but I Hope you guys like it!

I think this is really good.

Wow 7Chronicles! Very nice job, particularly with the dress, her instrument and left hand. And the snake is just right behind her. Her hair is beautiful, and I like how you've drawn her looking very friendly and nice.

Wow! The amount of work you put into this is incredible! I love the layout, the almost poster-like or painting-like feeling to the composition, her snake form coling behind her, and your job on the snake is amazing! I love her dress, the folds work perfectly and you can see the sort of fabric it's made from as it pools to the floor! I love the detail of her lute in her hand, and the way her hair almost resembles a Medusa - beyond clever! I like the colored version, too, it doesn't look weird! Her hair perhaps has too much of a green shade in it, but then again, this is a sort of thing that works with this character
Again - brilliant job! Thanks for joining the SC campaign!
I've seen the movie 9 times!!! (PC)

@stateofgreen: Thank you! I’m glad you like it!
@Adeona: Thanks! I'm so happy you like it! I wanted her to look very innocent and kind, and then to have the snake behind her very menacing and fierce to show her deception.
@Beginte: Thank you so much! I’m so glad you like it!
I thought it would be fun to have her hair in thicker curls like snakes, I’m happy you like it!
Oh good, I’m glad the color one looks ok! I don’t normally color my sketches, so I’m glad it worked out!
Thanks for joining the SC campaign!
Thank You for letting me join you! It’s great fun!

7chronicles, that's marvelous! I greatly admire anyone capable of drawing people. The dress, I think, is certainly the defining point of the drawing--it's just gorgeous! The snake is also a pleasing addition, both aesthetically and symbolically (the teeth, eye, and tongue are perfectly poisonous, if that makes sense). My only criticisms would be that her neck seems a bit large. Otherwise, brilliant job!
7Chronicles, your art looks great mate! She seems to have a fairly masculine neck but that's easily fixed.

Wow, 7! This is marvelous! I love everything about it! The shading's great, all the details are striking, and her hair looks very real! I especially like how you put the snake behind her. LotGK herself looks like a beautiful, charming woman, but the snake reveals who she really is on the inside. An eerie contrast, that!
As always, I look forward to seeing more of your work!
(Oh, and I hope to draw something for the SC campaign too when I get the chance! )

Wow. That's amazing. I especially like the non-colored one.
Great job!

Wow, that's lovely 7Chronicles! I love how her right hand looks like it's casting a spell. The snake and the dress really make the piece though! Everything is very photo realistic!
ok...wow. wowowowow. I lvoe this! the colouring...the greens especially are perfect, but I also felt you got the colouring of her hair just right (imho )
the design with the snake curling around is very effective, and I lvoe the snakes eye and fangs. I just love this whole picutre! well done!!
Grief for the movies made me abandon narniaweb...but I'm so glad to be back!
Many thanks to the wonderful Lady Eowyn for making my sig/av.
@Narnian_Badger: Thank you! I loved drawing the dress! And I’m glad that the snake looks poisonous, I really love drawing different creatures! Thanks for taking the time to look at it!
@Warrior 4 Jesus: Thanks! When I was drawing her neck I was afraid I would make it to skinny, I guess I overdid it the other way around.
But like you said it is a very easy fix.
@Silver the Wanderer: Thank You so much! I’m glad I managed to make her look charming and the snake fierce. I definitely wanted to show the her deception.
I’m glad to hear that you are also going to draw something for Beginte’s SC fan campaign! I can’t wait to see your drawing!
@Ithilwen: I’m so glad you like it! Thank you so much!
@Aravanna: Thank You! Doing her right hand like that just seemed to fit her somehow.
I’m really glad you think everything looks realistic I try really hard to draw as realistically as I can!
@RoseRed: Thank You very much!
I was worried at first when I was coloring the green in her dress because I didn’t want the green to be to over bearing, but I had to have her dress match her snake form, so I’m so happy you like it and that the colors all work together. Thank you so much!

This is so beautiful. I love the detail in the folds of her dress, the curl of her hair, and the snake's scales. And the snake's face gives me the creeps!
Drawing both forms of LotGK was a great idea. It brings out the terrifying contrast between her two faces really well.

@Tarkheena: Thank You so much!
I really enjoyed drawing her dress. I’m glad you think the snake is creepy.
And I am also glad that drawing both her and the snake works well, at first I couldn’t figure out how to include them both. So I’m glad it all worked out.
@Liberty Hoffman: Thanks! And thanks for taking the time to look at it!
