Thanks! I'm not a fan of the concept and do not wish to be seen as one (coracle seems to have patronizingly classified me as a dellusional maniac), I merely was intrigued. I like a good 'what if' that holds a prospect of an interesting story, so I agreed to draw it when requested. Thank you very much for liking it! I had lots of fun designing Corin's looks Hmm, tips about expressions? I must say I never was asked about that... I don't know, I sort of draw them and they come out good or bad, if the latter - I correct them till I get them right. I guess that's the method, draw till you get it right Plus, it helps to do some expression drawings off some picture - you know, stare at a photo and draw it on paper, and pay particular attention to how lips, cheeks, eyes and eyebrows correspond with each other, how they're all linked together in each expression. Sorry, I know I'm fuzzy, but that's the closest I can get to putting what I mean into some semblance of coherency Thanks again!

So do I; more-so if it is well presented. Like here.
Thank you for the tips and explanation. I found it quite clear.

coracle, it's supposed to be a mild confrontation. I'm glad you like Corin, I very much enjoyed designing him Hey, what do you mean I'll just have to live with that? That wasn't a very kind sentence... like I'm insisting on hooking those two up and give a whole capaign for it? Mind you, the idea never was mine and I stated it, so please don't treat me that way. Also, it might be Lewis' timeline but remember in book ages never were stated, so if someone is interested, they can go through with it. I just like an interesting 'what if', hence agreed to do the drawing when requested. Please don't address me like some dellusional maniac.
Sorry about that - no insult intended whatsoever, and definitely no patronising.
Delusional? I don't think so. Nor do I think you are starting a campaign for it.
I just didn't agree, and thought I would say why.
And I forgot to come and look at this thread again so I am a day late responding.
I too love the connections between Archenland and Narnia that Lewis depicts in HHB - it shows a lovely period of comfortable time with the Pevensies enjoying Corin's family.
In your supposal if Corin and Lucy were more similar in age, I am sure they would be fond of each other (or at least he would like her). I just can't help but think of Star Wars 1.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
Meltintalle, aw, thanks! Oh, you're welcome, I know the tip wasn't really precise, but it's the best I can do... I'm glad you found it clear!
coracle, okay, no harm done. Just that it seemed a bit impolite, the 'just have to live with that' part, I quite honestly don't know where it came from, as it wasn't really about why you don't like it. But no matter Oh, I like the feeling of friendship and family-like connection between Narnia and Archenland in GA (especially the way Susan was a mother to Corin, I intend to make some drawings with her pulling his ear and such ). Ah, the 'what if' isn't mine, like I stated, I merely was interested in possibilities it opened. Heh, I know, as a matter of fact the line at the bottom I borrowed more or less from Anakin in Star Wars II

This is wonderful Begine! I Love the shading!
You did Lucy’s face great, and from the side it's even more difficult to draw, I could tell it was her right away!
I Love the way you drew Corin as well!
And I understand exactly what you mean by the feeling of pencil on paper!
It has taken me forever to comment, December was so busy for me I'm glad I was finally able to comment, again it looks great!

Wow, that is fantastic! Very haunting and like you know they end up getting married!

You suck a lollipop, and you sing a song. Get it right, Jo!
He does look like Corin. The clothing, in particular, empresses me. It seems detailed, but not too much. The style is very Narnian. And I am a drawer, so I know exactly what you mean about how the pencil feels good on the paper!
