This is a picture I drew of Fledge from The Magicians Nephew. I'd like to make some improvements on it eventually (like adding a background) but for now this is as good as it gets. Hope you like it, let me know what you think.
That's why I'm going to stand by the play world. I'm on Aslan's side even if there isn't any Aslan to lead it. I'm going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn't any Narnia. -Puddleglum
That is positively beautiful. I don't think it really needs a background because the mixture of clouds and sky are background enough. You did a fantastic job, and I wouldn't change a thing.
Well done.

I don't know, I think it would look much better with the Narnian landscape below him

I think its beautiful as it is...very original and no change is needed! Very nice job!

Very beautiful! It has very soft feeling, I really like the background. The wings and the horse's proportions are great. The neck might be a little less thick, but as Strawberry was originally a working-horse, it doesn't matter.

Great job, LGK! I really like the simplicity and coloring of the whole drawing. The angle and sizes of Fledge make is seem like he's just soaring through the misty sky. I don't think it needs a background. It's so pretty as it is, but it would be neat to see your other idea on paper as well.

He really looks like he's enjoying the wings Aslan gave him and the wings look strong enough for flying. The colors were lovely.
