Good drawing! I like the shading very much, and the work on his hair is great... I also love the cloak clip and the work on shading again, I adore well shaded folds of material! *loves* I'm only not too fond of the features and shape of his face, but that's my personal preference.

And above all that, I SO very much like him with hair! XD

A nice character portrait Mehinen. You can definitely tell that this is from your portfolio of work, but it still has its own styling to it, which is great to see. The linework is awesome, love the details in the hairwork, including the bits of scruff (nice work here, its not an easy thing to do to make this sort of thing actually look believable). The shading looks great throughout. Not that this is an issue, but it seems that the only real dark area is his eyes which automatically leads my eye to this spot. This of course works, but it might be nice to see another area of really dark shading (again it's not necessarily needed either). Hmm, something with his head or his face seems off to me. I can't quite place it, and I know that's not much help, but I'll see what I can do here. I think the top of his ear may be just a hair too high (usually the top of the ear matches with the eyeline at this angle). Also, I think he needs just a tiny, tiny amount more of hair at the left (our left) side of his head. It seems to be just hanging right there, which might look a little awkward if were to turn him facing forward. I'm not certain if these sort of things are throwing the look off, but they may be little items to consider. On a side note from that, the detailing and linework in his cloak and shirt look great (I especially like the folds in his cape, gives more of a sense of believability). Nice work .

I like it! He has a very unique look to his face, which sets him apart from other characters you've drawn. I also like the shine on the clasp of his cloak.
