I was remembering that famous scene in VDT that we're all so anxious to hear in the upcoming movie, where Aslan says that he is in our world too but has another name.
Then, while I was watching PC, I saw how longingly Lucy looks back at Aslan just before she returns to England, and her sadness after Narnia disappears, and she's left in that train station without Him.
I started thinking about how that same longing would return once she leaves Narnia for the last time, never to return, and begin her journey here -- finding Aslan by his other name.
And so inspired this wallpaper. Below is the link to the full-sized version, along with a small, preview version. Comments and criticism are welcome. Please don't claim as your own.

Nice wp Eustace+Jill, simple, but no less inspiring. The concept of the piece is great and you have chosen the perfect text and imagery to match. The image of Lucy is just stunning for this piece. I love how her expression just says so much for what the piece is about. At first, I didn't really like the inclusion of "somehwere" in the text. However, upon reading your visual conception of the piece, it seems to work quite nicely. In design terms, I'm not really for all the color choices on the text. The different fonts work, but I feel there are just too many colors (it kind of takes away the viewer's focus). Although, the blue and purple coloration on the text works really well with that of the BG image. I'd say to work with these two colors on the text and use the intense blue for the final word only (for emphasis as needed). I'd also bring the first line of text in a bit, away from the edges of the piece. The BG image is great, I really like the lighting and coloration. Nice work .

Eustace+Jill, I really love this moment in the book and I also love the way you incorporated that scene into this wallpaper. It's beautiful! The image you chose of Lucy is perfect for this part, because it reflects her true faith in Aslan as well as her pure innocence & love for him. I also really like the background and the words you used to convey the meaning! Really great work!

That is lovely EJ! That was always a sweet part of the book, and this wallpaper really portrays Lucy's strong faith for Aslan and her innocence. Your coloring is very pretty, and your choice of images, is just perfect! I love the concept of her looking up to the sky, knowing he is some where.
The fonts are very pretty. The colors of them may be a bit distracting, but aside from that it's beautiful

*happy sigh* It's beautiful! I agree with Lion's Emblem on the different color texts, but other than that I love it! Lucy's expression perfectly captures that moment, and the other images are a great touch to convey the overall meaning.
