I actually love the coloring. The blending looks nice too and the background it's obscure in a great way. You should be very proud of it!

Oh the coloring is so very pretty! I really like the blending, and Aslan put neatly into the middle roaring. It matches story and how he roars at her for wanting to be beautiful. The text really fits with the wallpaper. Nicely chosen. The image of Lucy/Susan on the right is my fave of the scene. Where she touches her cheek. Very nice job!! It's awesome, really!

Great wp Lady Courage. I agree, the coloration is awesome. It's a perfect matchup to the concept of the piece. The image of Lucy has a nice golden light to it while the image of Susan is more muted, which combined with the text and image of Aslan, just pushes the idea even more. Very effective visually. The blending of imagery is superb and I especially like the transparent image of Aslan (works really well, I didn't even notice it at first). Text also works quite nicely for the concept of the piece. I wasn't sure of it at first, but once I noticed the image of Aslan, it felt much more appropriate. Nice work .

I saw this when it was first posted, but I'm just now getting around to commenting on it... . Anywho, I absolutely love the way you blended all the images and textures together so flawlessly! Would you mind posting the sparkly one you used as well as the one of words that is over Lucy-turned-Susan's face? Also, I love your choice of text... the song fits so perfectly!

OK, sparkly textures... Going back to check I have several on there that all add up to the overall look. So I'll post them below here. As for the text... It's a brush on top of a paper texture. And I have no idea which of my many text brushes it is. I distinctly recall searching and searching and searching for the right one, but I don't remember which one I ended up using. Sorry!

FYI: The first texture is one of my FAVORITE textures; I use it all the time, especially for Susan and Lucy. And also, Photobucket always shrinks my stuff that is over a certain size, and these were both bigger than my free-account limit. So, the originals are actually bigger. I think I only used the upper left hand corner of the second in the wallpaper, but I don't remember. Some memory I've got, huh?
