I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! And Happy New Year to you all! May the Lord bless you and lead you in His ways.

Here we are...Yet another cross-over trailer! I think that this one has some of the best lip-synching in it that I've done to date...

Enjoy!

Happy New Year!

Another nice "mash-up" trailer 2nd to One. Having not seen Appaloosa for myself nor knowing anything about it, it will be difficult for me to say much on the overall editing with the Narnian clips, but I'll do my best for you. The first few opening bits of footage work well with the SFX track, especially with the clip of Peter and Edmund walking out of Aslan's How (the fade between clips here also works with the pacing). Seems a bit odd to have a clip of Edmund and Lucy match with the dialogue track of "men like us..." (13), but I honestly didn't catch it on the first pass. Editing at 37 also works well with the dialogue track. Editing of clips from 1:31 through 1:45 really stands out to me. The pacing just seems to match up so well with the soundtrack.

I agree that a lot of your lip-syncing looks great in this trailer. I can believe that what is being said with the clips on screen and I'm not pulled out of the trailer (nice work here). I am pulled out at some parts though, mostly when the characters in the clips start moving their lips before the dialogue starts (i.e. Peter at 1:01). Lip-sync looks really good with Reepicheep (55) and his acting matches the personality of the speaker (maybe not really in the Appaloosa film, but it works for me here). Other nicely executed moments of lip-sync include 46, 1:07, 123, 126 (this clip makes me chuckle on the inside for some reason when matched up with the dialogue), 142, 152, and 2:02 through 2:05.

I like the fact the studio names don't come into play until bits and pieces of the trailer have already played. Also, the use of "title cards" throughout works well and the fades help to lead back into the clips. Nice work .

that was pretty good! I think it was most funny to have Edmund with such a deep voice... ;))

I love this crossover trailer. The lip-synching was pretty good. Better than I normally see. And I also loved the clip at 127. Wonderful job!

Thank you all! I'm so glad you liked it! :D

Yes, the "I only shot two" section is my brother's and my favorite part too. :)

Emblem, thank you for your thorough review! I really appreciate your attention to detail! I mostly put the shot of Edmund and Lucy on horses just because there aren't many shots of Ed on a horse in PC...and none of Peter and Ed together on horses, that would have been ideal...too bad I wasn't working from both films... :-
Yes, I'm getting more and more sold on the idea of placing titles a little more 'into' the trailer, rather than just sticking them in at the beginning...:)

Eruceninde, that's what I thought too! ;)

Happy New Year!
