Nice blending! 
I am insanely jealous of people who can actually get Photoshop, etc. to work for them. 
The text was pretty against the textured grey - Nice job.

The blending is really well done, Lucy P, and I find that everything flows quite smoothly between the three images that are the centerpiece of the wp. Colouring is fairly well done, I like the "yellow-y" feel to it without the yellow being over powering. Nice job on the textures as well. My only CC is something to do with the text, and perhaps it's me. On the last word of the line "they don't turn out always as we...", I find the text a little hard to understand. Is it supposed to be the word "think?" on the end? It looks like there's an "f" on the end instead of a "k", so I find it a little confusing. However, this is probably just me. All in all, a nicely done piece.
