Prince of Persia is starting to look good to me as a potential teaser attachment, especially since we have finally started moving along with the marketing campaign now - posters and banners and such. Assuming things are going to progress at a steady rate, you might assume an initial trailer would be not too far away. Not only does the timing work out, but as AJAiken said, its likely going to be hitting a lot of the same target audience as VDT.

Even if there is no trailer with Prince of Persia, i'd still recommend most all NarniaWebbers to go see it, as it will undoubtedly become the single biggest point of reference for all future discussion on a potential HAHB movie here on NarniaWeb. Also, if Prince of Peria is a big box office success (and a relatively controversy free one at that) it could prove to be the single biggest influence in ensuring HAHB actually gets made

And if that wasn't enough, as an added bonus, apparently Ronald Pickup (BBC Aslan!) makes an appearance in the movie as King Sharaman (whoever that is. lol). He's listed 8th on the IMDB cast list, so one would assume its a pretty significant role. Definitely one to look (or listen) out for

I'm thinking Toy Story 3. Possibly The Last Airbender. Eclipse would be an odd choice. Also, I would assume that VDT's target audience is rather younger then that of both Robin Hood and Prince of Persia, regardless of the overarching themes, etc. So I wouldn't expect the first trailer to be attached to either of those movies. And I've NEVER been wrong before.

But the Prince of Persia/HHB parallel is certainly going to be interesting.

Just a thought, this probably won't happen, but seeing that there is a banner now at the Festival de Cannes, does anyone think there might be a teaser trailer this Friday with Robin Hood, which premieres tomorrow night at the festival?

If it comes out in the next 20 hours I just might die of excitement because it's so long before the movie, but it could be possible just based on the fact that Robin Hood is a book (one that I don't like much but that's not the point).

Looks like it definitely won't be attached to Robin Hood. We would have heard something about it by now if it were. Thinking back on it, Robin Hood is too much of an "adult" movie to have something like the VDT trailer premiering with it.

After this new report just coming in, the MOST likely one is Toy Story 3. Possibly Prince of Persia if they can manage to get it done in 2-3 weeks instead of 3-4 weeks.

Yeah, bkey, Robin Hood is definitely too much of an 'adult' film for a Narnia preview to show in front of it. And besides, it's also too early.

Okay, so now I'm nearly convinced the trailer will debut in front of Toy Story 3.

I wish it was sooner but I can deal waiting for three weeks. Another month feels like four months, I still hope it'll be with Prince of Persia.

That would be ironic, considering Disney's the one that dumped the franchise. But yeah, Toy Story seems like a safe bet - same target audience, appropriate timeframe. And it's a big release, so good exposure for Narnia's return.

Well at least we know it has to come out eventually, right?
