I would expect that the trailer would show up before more than one movie. In two weeks (if correct) those who see the trailer will be letting us know.

I plan on seeing Toy Story 3; hope it's there.

Strangely enough I actually predicted the exact day of the first Prince Caspian trailer, and it seems that I have correctly predicted this one as well. If only I could be as lucky in all my predictions in life.

Toy Story will be the almost certainly be the highest grossing film of the year, so it is great that everyone who will see it, will know that there will be another Narnia film as well.

Not to mention that I believe the target audiences will overlap quite a bit!

I thought it might be Toy Story 3. That's already getting into June, and some of the predictions last year were that the trailer might be out in May. It just seems like the right time. I barely go the movies though, so I hope we have a transcript!

NICE! Love this news! This is great! I really hope that it is on Toy Story 3, as that's the only movie coming out within two weeks that I will likely to see in theaters, and I would prefer to see the trailer in theaters first (I saw LWW trailer for the first time in theaters, while PC I watched on the internet; I just think it's much more exciting on the big screen than on the internet).

Anyway, can't wait. Really hope this report is right!!

Just a reminder, not every showing of whatever movie it comes out with will show the trailer. You might want to call the theater first and ask before heading to the theater.

Good advice, starkat. I really, really hope that the trailer is in front of Toy Story 3. The only other movies coming out on the 18th don't look family friendly at all: Jonah Hex, Cyrus, I Am Love, The Killer Inside Me, and 8. I'm guessing they aren't likely possibilities.

I suppose June 11th might be considered "about two weeks" in which case The A-Team and The Karate Kid might be possibilities, but at this point I'm really leaning toward Toy Story 3.

We had that crop up a LOT with the one of the earlier trailers. Some showings of Star Wars Ep 3 were showing it and some weren't. So some people started calling ahead to make sure. That's where I learned that trick from.

As far as calling the theater; I want to see Toy Story 3 opening night, so if they don't play the trailer then, then I'll just wait and see it online. Somehow I imagine they wont be playing it open night, and so I'll try not to get my hopes too high.

I think the VotDT trailer is going to be in front of Toy Story 3 because if it comes out in two weeks, the time is right! yay!

I'm almost positive now that we've gotten the two week estimate that the trailer will show before Toy Story 3. The time frame is right, and there are no other films with the right audience opening at that time. Toy Story 3 on the other hand, will be seen by just about everyone who would go see VDT.

To tell you the truth, I don't really know much on the matter. My thought was that if the teaser is released online the day that Toy Story 3 hits theaters, than it wouldn't be played with the movie until that time, however, if they release the trailer a few days before Toy Story 3 hits theaters, then there is certainly a possibility that they'll play it. Guess we'll wait and see.
