I don't think early premieres generally show trailers though. My dad works for a local newspaper and when I was younger we used to be able to go see special press screenings of certain films, many of which didn't have trailers beforehand. We'll see though. You could be absolutely right.
Yeah I'm just saying what my friend told me, but it could still be possible. the premiere of Prince of Persia is two weeks earlier prior to its' actual release. i'm actually hoping crossing my fingers too as well.

So Prince of Persia is officially out now... I think we would have heard a spy-report or something by now if the VDT trailer was on it, so we can probably safely rule out PoP now. I could be wrong, though. Anyone seen it, or know someone who's seen it?

Perhaps, but let's not rule it out completely until the day is over. Yahoo! has yet to upload their new trailers today.
Movie Aristotle, AKA Risto
Right, wouldn't want to jump the gun....
I hope it is on Prince of Persia, cause I'm definitely planning on seeing that in theaters soon, and I want to see the VDT trailer on a big screen.

I really think we would have heard by now. Trailer premieres are usually announced at least a few days before they are to be released, and are often released online before they hit theaters as well.
Yeah a week ago I was letting everyone know that it wasn't going to be before POP.
Yes we would know by now if it was. It would be all over sites like comingsoon.net and RottenTomatoes as well as other sites and on here in a heartbeat if it was. Plus the UK got POP first then some of us and we would have heard something from them by now too.
My hopes are still high for Toy Story 3.

They seem to be pushing the 3D with Dawn Treader Marketing (especially with that teaser poster ), so wouldn't it make sense that the trailer would be in 3D? Therefore it would be in-front of a 3D film. So that leaves us with Toy Story 3, The Last Airbender, and Despicable Me (I think those are the only ones in 3D). I'm guessing The Last Airbender since it's generally speaking an other-worldly, live-action, fantasy film.... Sound familiar to some other upcoming film?
Oh, and I haven't read through this whole thread, so I'm sorry if this has already been brought up.
I cant wait too long so I'm still hoping it's Toy Story 3. Please oh please
Last Airbender would be good but still hoping for it sooner.

I've seen a lot of people say something like this and I just thought I'd comment that Disney movies shouldn't automatically be counted out because Disney dropped the series. You see, Disney still holds the rights to LWW and PC. For all the people that skipped seeing LWW and PC that go and see VDT and like it, they may go back and pick up the first two. Disney would still make money off of that.
Thought this was a good time to reitarate this. Just because Disney dropped out doesn't mean that VDT can't or won't be shown before a Disney movie. I think for Fox/Walden it will be the right kind of movie and therfore audience that matters most. (IMHO)
We'll know one of these days.

There is definitely no "a" in definite.
The Mind earns by doing; the Heart earns by trying.
Ah I saw the A-Team trailer before Prince of Persia today(Which the movie was fantastic). So i'm still having my high hopes that VDT trailer will go before A-Team.

I think it will be in front of Ramona and Beezus since Walden Media is producing that too.
Mr. Beaver: When Adam's Flesh and Adam's bone sits at Cair Paravel in throne, the evil time will be over and done.
Susan Pevensie: You know that doesn't really rhyme.
I just hope Ramona & Beezus is not going to be the very first time that we actually see the trailer for VDT. i'm still hoping for A-Team and Toy Story 3. Ramona & Beezus is too far away. We should get the trailer within another week or two.

Narnia Fans has a new story up here. Looks like they are talking about the trailer to come out in the next two weeks.
