My votes with either Prince of Persia or Toy Story 3.

It would be nice if a trailer was ready by the time Iron Man 2 was released, since I'm sure a lot of people will be seeing that movie.

Prince of Persia probably has a lot of the same demographics as VDT so it is very possible that it will debut with that film.

My guess is that the trailer will come out sometime in June, and Toy Story 3 seems like the best film to put it in front of during that month.

I would think either Prince of Persia, Toy Story 3, or The Last Airbender. I just don't see it premiering in front of any of the FOX releases, as none of them are really in the same genre or have the same target market as VDT.

I don't think we will get a trailer before June at the earliest. That will still be a long way before the film. I guess it is possible that we will get some sort of teaser. I can't wait for it. It seems like they finished filming so long ago and we haven't even had a photo yet.

Shrek Forever After feels like a contender to me. Having a trailer before Iron Man 2 would be pretty cool, that's going to be a big movie for sure - and therefore needs some immense trailers - Narnia to the rescue!!

Toy Story 3 . . . yeah - I can see it. Perhaps Eclipse too, I mean, both are fantasy books turned into films.

The only reason I would want a trailer on Eclipse is b/c alot of people will be watching that movie. Otherwise, I wouldn't want Narnia involved with Twilight at all

Iron Man 2 would only be a good option because Iron Man was popular so supposedly the sequel will be a humongous hit. It seems a tad early though.
I'm thinking that we won't see a trailer until June, in which case I would go for Toy Story 3, because Pixar has a good following and if VDT is marketed towards families like LWW was I think it will work better. If it doesn't come out until July, I'm going to guess either Sorcerer's Apprentice, or Last Airbender.

i hope it doesn't appear in front of Marmaduke.....that would be bad advertising! plus, that movie will be targeting a whole different audience......

Even though Iron Man 2 will probably get a lot of money, I think it should premire on a trailer featuring the genre.

Robin Hood could work as it has the medivel adventure feel that would fit the movie.

But the movies I think are mostly likely going to feature the VotDT trailer are:
Prince of Persia, The Sorcerer's apprentice, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and The Last Airbender. All of these films are fantasy, they all have some form of action, and they do share a lot of the same target audience.

I also think showing the trailer infront of Sherek 4 and Toy Story 3 would be smart since lots of kids will watch those movies and will probably get interested.

I forgot about those photos. It has been awhile. I just sort of want some of something other then the Dawn Treader which we have a lot of footage of already.

Fantasia_kitty, why is your second guess Twilight? The series seem so far apart I'm curious to know your reasons.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader's market is

a. children
b. fantasy fans

so I'm guessing The Last Airbender, though it's a bit far out. Prince of Persia might work too, and it's earlier. I also wouldn't be surprised if the trailer were shown in front of Toy Story 3 or Shrek, since they have better times.

To be honest with you, I can't seem to get Prince Caspian out of my mind as what age group to shoot for... because Prince Caspian was most definitely aimed towards what I would consider to be a Middle School/High School age group.

HOPEFULLY Dawn Treader will be going back to a younger age group again, but even so, I can't see it aimed so young that it'd be a good fit for Toy Story 3. Twilight just seems to be the best fit around that time. Though everybody is probably right and it'll be The Last Airbender
